Glastonbury line up not very inspiring

I like SZA. Honestly though I've never understood the appeal of Glastonbury myself. Absolutely ridiculous prices.

The price is worth every penny have you seen how much gigs are? It’s not the price and it is amazing no matter who are playing. We don’t rough it. The line up is just very mainstream and very tick box

Rubbish line up this year. I'd be so disappointed if I'd forked out tickets. Was hoping for a big name like Stevie Wonder. Shania Twain? 😑 Meh.

Seems a bit flat and bland but hopefully there will be some good acts on the smaller stages.

I have never heard of SZA either. Coldplay are a bit boring. Dua Lipa and Shania Twain are just about OK.

I think it's quite uninspiring. I like Dua Lipa, Olivia Dean & The Last Dinner Party.

PJ Harvey is cool, shania may bring a horse on stage to sing to which is always a plus

Do you buy tickets before you know who’s playing? Never been, no interest in doing so but heard the lineup this morning. I went to see SZA last year with a friend who had a spare ticket. I’d pay NOT to see her again!! (Just not my kind of music, I’m not saying she wasn’t good!)
Dh and I would love to see Cyndi lauper but nothing else headlining makes me think it would be worth the discomfort of a weekend camping in hell!

It's gone downhill for years now

Glastonbury is now a monstrous, overcrowded and unwieldy money-maker. Many, many years ago the line-ups were imaginative.......not so these days.

have you ever been? it's the least crowded festival I've been to. And they give a lot of money to charity. the line up isn't great, yeah, but still best festival ever

Came on to say the same.. a few decent artists but over all a big fat meh from me, the shine seems to have gone off Glastonbury to be honest

There's some good stuff there: Justice, The Last Dinner Party, PJ Harvey, LCD Soundsystem, Sleaford Mods, Orbital, The Breeders, Steel Pulse. The Pyramid stage headliners are meh.

She's been struggling with her voice (I think) for a while now. She had to cancel a lot of shows last year on medical advice as well.

I saw Cyndi Lauper at Shepherd's Bush Empire a few years ago. Her voice live is something else. So powerful.

Meh, nobody looks that brilliant imho. Fortunately, I’ve always found seeing the acts the very least interesting aspect of going to Glastonbury.
