Have just seen news saying that associated press have withdrawn photo as it appears "manipulated". V strange

For the 100th time - no one forced them to release a questionable edited photo claiming it was taken by William last week !
The resultant shitshow is on the ‘royals ‘ .

i just think it’s really awful that a woman who has recently undergone surgery and is trying to recover has been so hounded she has had to consent to a photo when she is feeling rubbish and has now had to publicly apologise for tarting it up a little - and let’s not pretend people weren’t going to peruse it regardless. I’d hate it even if I were in full health.

The poor bugger was never going to be given basic human consideration. Her privacy was never going to be respected. I'm sure she feels like shit and the last thing she needs now is more hassle. I'm guessing she's looking exactly how you'd expect someone to look after the major surgery she's had but you just know that a photo of her looking less than 'perfect' would be pulled to bits so yes, maybe she did try to cobble something together to get people off her back. But it was never going to work. Not with the amount of obsessive royal watchers involved and the money to be made in feeding them.

We are paying nearly £100 million annually. I think the British public are entitled to expect honesty and transparency don’t you?

It looks to me like she is turning away from William. Her body language looks like she doesn’t know want to be there.

Kate is NOT wearing a wedding ring. Surely that is the very first thing that anyone will check and notice. It’s not there. Quite deliberately.

This is not a conspiracy theorist pursuit, there are some genuinely very concerning behaviours and decision making - dubious lies now in full public view.

The photo reminds me, uncomfortably, of Diana in the last year of their marriage.

But she hasn’t misled. As far as I can tell she’s slightly tarted up her pic. What woman wouldn’t want to in this circumstance. That’s probably why she wasn’t releasing one sooner, because she didn’t want to feel it needed playing round with. I know everyone is desperate for a shot of her in her trackies, sans make up , greasy hair and without a bra but what woman in her right mind is going to do that if they know the media frenzy awaiting it?

All she has to do was get in a car and be photographed waving from the passenger seat.

I'd say she's had prolapse surgery but it's not something you want to go down in history for. It'd be dredged up for years.

If it's a prolapse surgery there is a long recovery at least mine was. You can't really walk anywhere for that long. High heels are out because they pull your abdominal muscles, and it feels like you are sitting on a tennis ball for about 3 months after surgery. You cannot drive for 6 weeks and if you can manage it don't drive for as long as possible. Especially if the car has a heavy clutch. You also can't really turn your head to park etc for a few weeks.

We'd have gynecologists on Sky News talking us through how exactly how surgery like this is done.

It’s also probably not a top day in their house I’m guessing.

I guess recollections may vary now about who and when the pic was taken with all these lies and half truths and deceit from KP ...shesh what the hell happened to the monarchy since the Queen died.

Well I think you're overthinking it, but I doubt she DOES want to be there. She's letting herself be glimpsed to calm some of the crazy. 24 hours ago she would have been doing this because of the internet crazies. Today she's having to do it because of their own mistakes (for whatever reason) with the photo.

Hopefully she's not too uncomfortable in the car and this will help somewhat.
