Which film will you sit and watch when you find it whilst flicking through channels, even though you've seen it a hundred times?

Mine is The Talented Mr Ripley - I love it.

Hate To think how many late nights I've had due to that film.

Anyone else do this?

Me too. I love that film and have watched it dozens of times.

And me. It doesn't even feel like I'm watching a film, now. More like "oh, it's you again. Do sit down".

Same with some of the old classics I first watched when young - Double Indemnity, The Maltese Falcon, The Third Man, Singing In The Rain, The Ladykillers.

Capricorn One - that really is a great film, isn't it? Why don't they show it any more? Maybe because of the whole moon landing hoax/culture wars thing?

saveforthat · 10/03/2024 19:40

Anything with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers in. Actually pretty much any musical.
