Which film will you sit and watch when you find it whilst flicking through channels, even though you've seen it a hundred times?

Mine is The Talented Mr Ripley - I love it.

Hate To think how many late nights I've had due to that film.

Anyone else do this?

Turner and hooch-cracks me up every time!
family man-I just love that film, have watched it so often but I love it

Do you mean The Family Man with Nicolas Cage & Tea Leoni?

If so, I agree. I love this movie but it's never on anywhere.

Nitgel · 10/03/2024 19:58

I love thd ending of Capricorn One

I always watch Brooklyn, Jaws and Poltergeist

EarringsandLipstick · 10/03/2024 19:58

Oh and Sully (Tom Hanks). Such an understated effective film. And a rare case of the real-life main character being more handsome than the actor!

AhBiscuits · 10/03/2024 19:59

The Lost Boys.
I absolutely love it. I could watch Michael's lips all day.

yes @EarringsandLipstick that’s the one The Family Man, Nicholas cage (who I’m usually not a big fan of tbh) but something about this film just resonates with me and I love it every single time.

Any of the musical versions of A Star is Born. In fact, any musical from Hollywood’s golden era. Funny Face this afternoon was a joy.

Lost Boys - classic from my teenage years!
The Dressmaker - beautiful cinematography.
Hot Fuzz - Best of British!
Dad's Army - have watched it a few times. The modern cast did such a fabulous job.
Oh, and how could I forget - Jaws, obviously - even 2 and 3!

I'm delighted to have found a fellow fan! No-one ever seems to know this movie. I really love it but it's rarely on.

I too am not a great Nicolas Cage fan but love this!
