Mosaic Portrait - Experian Consumer Information Portal (experianmarketingservices.digital)

Over 150 different segments. Apparently I live in a budget generation area.
So many to choose from.
They then sell this data to marketing companies to do what they want with it.

Rural vogue. There's only four houses in our postcode, so I'm not sure which one of us is dragging us up to fashionista status. Certainly not us.

Ginmonkeyagain · 07/03/2024 08:00

Ageing access. Which is a bit odd as we are a green "affordable" inner suburban area of London that is very popular with young families.

Ginmonkeyagain · 07/03/2024 08:02

I suppose that is correct if you count ageing as "not in your twenties". As it is definirely more staid here than places a little further in.

WhoaJayShettybambalam · 07/03/2024 08:02

Scattered Homesteads which is right.

FluffyToesMeow · 07/03/2024 08:02

Uptown Elite 🤣

youngestisapsycho · 07/03/2024 08:06

World class wealth! That’s the postcode of where I was born and brought up, in west London, and lived there till 4 years ago

Thriving Independence for where I live now…

ohtowinthelottery · 07/03/2024 08:08

Local focus - which I'd say is pretty accurate for our rural county village. Although it doesn't really apply to us as DH travels 30 miles out of county for work.

AbbeFausseMaigre · 06/03/2024 22:48

"Wealthy landowners"

Haha I wish!

Same here!

GrouchyKiwi · 07/03/2024 08:20

Bungalow Haven, for "peace-seeking seniors".

Soz, guys, that I moved my young family in. Wink

27Bumblebees · 07/03/2024 08:20

Uptown elite. Kind of right, but a bit more fancy the street in general

mirror245 · 07/03/2024 08:29

Empty nest adventure.
Very accurate. I'm only 40 though but our neighbours are much older - late 70's that have lived here for decades. I'm hoping that younger families will move in in the future (so dc has friends in community).

SoEmbarrassed2024 · 07/03/2024 08:31

Solid Economy which is completely wrong for us and most of our neighbours. For a start we are all semis and mostly owned, not rented terraces

Fifthtimelucky · 07/03/2024 08:32

Alpha Families.

That was probably more accurate 10 years ago before the children flew the nest and we retired.

GOODCAT · 07/03/2024 08:43

Senior outliers - my neighbours fit the profile - I don't!

MrsCarson · 07/03/2024 08:47

I'm living in Bungalow Haven. Could be pretty close I suppose there are quite lot one street over and lots retired people around, we'll be joining that group soon with early retirement.

Sunbird24 · 06/03/2024 23:03

Local Focus - rural families in affordable village homes who are reliant on the local economy for jobs.

About right for most of the neighbourhood

Me too but definitely not right regarding jobs!

CactusMactus · 07/03/2024 08:54

Cafés and Catchments - spot on.

fussychica · 07/03/2024 08:55

Bungalow Haven here too. Pretty accurate. The age profile is spot on (old) but the housing is not all bungalows. I don't know any neighbours who go on coach tours for their holiday!

LaWench · 07/03/2024 08:55

Mid Career Convention, it's not far off tbh.

JustlikeEllie · 07/03/2024 09:03

Mine is Solo retirees 🤣

Lampslights · 07/03/2024 09:15

Wealthy landowners here, and it’s an accurate assessment of the area, it’s detached homes, large multi acre gardens, lots of fields.

folks have to remember it’s not about you personally. It’s about the majority of homes in that postcode. Few people if any have a post code that’s specific just to them.

doppelgangermirror · 07/03/2024 09:17

Apparently we are Flexible Renters - I would say that is fair for the area we live in, even though it is way out for us (by about 20 years, 3 children and an owned house).

Our old postcode is Uptown Elite, which I would say is probably more us, even though we lived in a smaller place there.

Goforitagain · 07/03/2024 09:17

My postcode is the whole street of about 60 houses

ButterflyTable · 07/03/2024 09:20

Cafe’s and catchments !

CeeJay81 · 07/03/2024 09:37

Local Focus
rural families in affordable homes that rely on local jobs.

Sounds about right.
