Mosaic Portrait - Experian Consumer Information Portal (experianmarketingservices.digital)

Over 150 different segments. Apparently I live in a budget generation area.
So many to choose from.
They then sell this data to marketing companies to do what they want with it.

I get Bank of mum and dad, my parents get Diamond days, it’s scarily accurate!

TorroFerney · 07/03/2024 07:20

Mid career convention. It’s fairly accurate for us.

cordeliachaseatemyhandbag · 07/03/2024 07:20

I'm aging access and that is quite like us!

Isitisit · 07/03/2024 07:21

I get ‘Family Ties’. It doesn’t describe us at all but pretty accurate for the general area I’d say.

HairyToity · 07/03/2024 07:22

I live in an area called Scattered Homesteads, and medium income.. It's right. We are rural.

DuskyEvenings · 07/03/2024 07:23

elderly survivors. Older people who own their own low value home.

WAY OFF. It's an area populated by renters and immigrants (love my area). Whilst one street over we have some of the biggest most expensive houses within the city boundaries.

MirandaBlu · 07/03/2024 07:26

World Class Wealth!! "Global high flyers and moneyed families living luxurious lifestyles in London's most exclusive boroughs."

I mean. Erm. It's Glasgow City. There is an Ibis - Styles, even!! - round the corner, so that'll be the "five bedrooms +". Please don't call it "London", tho'; no one will be happy.

Persipan · 07/03/2024 07:31

Flying Solo. Apparently I am a young person renting my first flat. Ha!

Beezknees · 07/03/2024 07:34

Bus route renters. Sounds about right. Affordable rentals with good transport links to the city.

Crayfishforyou · 07/03/2024 07:36

Solo retirees!
2 of the 10 houses on our close are solo and retired. Everyone else has small kids

YorkshireWelsh · 07/03/2024 07:36

bozzabollix · 06/03/2024 22:50

Alpha families, we sound like twats.

Even worse, we have our own postcode so it’s just us who are the dicks.

Same! Though we do share our postcode with a few other houses 😂

The hilarious one is my Nan’s postcode - ‘Legacy Seniors: pensioners living in inexpensive housing in out of the way locations’.
She lives in a ruinously expensive village popular with second home owners!!

PictureFrameWindow · 07/03/2024 07:36

Inner city stalwarts which is about right. Lovely older neighbours who've lived in this area all their lives. Our street is the best for a good gossip Wink

Fluffycloudsfloatinginthesky · 07/03/2024 07:37

Mine was career builders - kind of right I think. It does say flats but they are all houses still all 2 bed though - started homes I guess. The new people moving in are definitely like this but there are more older people than this suggests who have owned the homes for ages. Not sure we have 5 holidays a year though!

AgnesX · 07/03/2024 07:39

Central pulse. Kind of true in that there are a lot of renters nearby but the age group isn't altogether right.

These things are all a bit general aren't they.

Dewdilly · 07/03/2024 07:41

Mine says metropolitan high flyers, and says mainly people in their 20s and 30s. That’s not right.

Doyouthinktheyknow · 07/03/2024 07:42

Family ties. Sums up us perfectly, 2 adult dc at university we are funding! Not sure about the rest of our street though!

Racingadmin · 07/03/2024 07:45

Boomerang boarders - spot on as a middle aged couple with dc moved back after uni

Pleonasmic · 07/03/2024 07:47

Legacy elders. Nobody on the street is over 40, so don't think they're right!

coureur · 07/03/2024 07:48

Wealthy Landowners. Prosperous owners of country houses including affluent families, successful farmers and second home-owners.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Nw22 · 07/03/2024 07:48

Cafes and catchments

IggOrEgg · 07/03/2024 07:48

Scattered homestead… I’m rather too young for their estimations and our farm is not a homestead 😂 but some of it is close to the mark.

Shodan · 07/03/2024 07:51

Cafes and Catchments, which is scarily accurate. You can't walk ten feet in my town without stumbling over yet another bloody coffee shop/artisanal cafe.

PieAndLattes · 07/03/2024 07:54

Cafes and catchments - spot on.

And

Ageing access - we have a holiday/weekend apartment at the beach, and it’s next to a residential home 😂

vivalasviva · 07/03/2024 07:55

World-Class Wealth - Global high flyers and moneyed farrilies living luxurious lifestyles in London's most exclusive
boroughs

It's a SW London borough with a run down high street.

What's Mayfair described as??!

Goforitagain · 07/03/2024 07:57

'Fledgling free' which is true, there are hardly any DC in our road or close nearby, they are all grown up and left home including ours
