Mosaic Portrait - Experian Consumer Information Portal (experianmarketingservices.digital)

Over 150 different segments. Apparently I live in a budget generation area.
So many to choose from.
They then sell this data to marketing companies to do what they want with it.

Thriving independence here. Relatively accurate though I'm married.

Bbq1 · 06/03/2024 23:53

Haha. Totally wrong. Got Solo retirees - when in reality we work ft, are married in our early 50's and have an 18yo son .Our road is a real mix of families and i can only think of 1 solo retiree. All the stats were completely wrong too.

GettingStuffed · 06/03/2024 23:55

Boomerang Boomers, probably right

TwistedSisters · 06/03/2024 23:59

Rural Vogue - actually quite accurate 😂

World Class Wealth 😂😂😂

I wish!

Are you in London, though? See my last post about the boarding school, which it also thinks is World Class Wealth.

PickAChew · 06/03/2024 23:59

Legacy elders. It's not terribly accurate.

fluffykittens208 · 07/03/2024 00:00

Metro highflyers lol.

Except we own our flat instead of renting and have 2 bedrooms. Still majority of our neighbours are young and rent.

Ankor · 07/03/2024 00:07

Uptown Elite. Don't know about uptown...we're in a rather secret, beautiful, green area of SW London.

Peckhampalace · 07/03/2024 00:15

Uptown Elite ...SE London (much more desirable than when we bought).
Parents.... bungalow haven.. completely fair!

MrsBungle · 07/03/2024 00:17

Retirement village here! I wish I could bloody retire.

DyslexicPoster · 07/03/2024 00:22

Well I'm not sure it's very accurate for me. On paper we live in a village on the edge of a town. Sounds leafy and lovely. But the reality is we are in very expensive houses right off a council estate. So depends on what side of the street you live on. I think it's a weird place. Your either in socail housing or your loaded and there's no middle ground. Unlike where I grew up, in a universally deprived area. Here your either a capital millionaire or you could never afford your own house in the area. No private flats either

Midlife Renters

ShinyAppleDreamingOfTheSea · 07/03/2024 00:36

Classic grandparents

Which we aren't yet - but are the age we could be

A few years ago this would have been a fairly accurate assessment of the rest of our postcode but over the last 5 years or so, older neighbours have passed away and there are now young families living there - so not accurate for them .

blackpear · 07/03/2024 00:37

Rural vogue, whatever that is . ..

HauntedBungalow · 07/03/2024 00:37

Central Pulse. Apparently. City-loving youngsters renting central flats in vibrant locations close to jobs and night life.

It's close to the city centre, is about all it's got right. I am definitely not a hip young urbanite who goes on five holidays a year.

OMG am I too old for my postcode? Mutton living as lamb??! Will the neighbours catch sight of my giveaway aged neck/knees/hands and banish me to the suburbs??! 😫😟😟

DancingOnMoonbeams · 07/03/2024 00:38

Modern Family

Very accurate!

garlictwist · 07/03/2024 00:42

Student scene. Pretty accurate as most of our neighbours are HMOs and students.

ShinyAppleDreamingOfTheSea · 07/03/2024 00:44

Just put my parents' old postcode in and Legacy Elders would have been accurate for them - although, like my own street, homes previously occupied by older people are now lived in by families . Fascinating.

Annielou67 · 07/03/2024 00:47

Satellite Settler. Accurate.

Barleysugar86 · 07/03/2024 00:49

Flexible Workforce. Some of it is close but I live right by a major fast train station into London and yet it has our transport options as 'bus, walk and micro car'. Also supermarkets list 'Asda' and no 'Tescos' despite having no Asda's nearby and two big Tescos.

Did laugh when I put in my mums postcode to get 'Mature Workers'. She retires next year!

crumblingschools · 07/03/2024 00:51

Bungalow Haven - rude!

CheshireCat1 · 07/03/2024 00:57

Bungalow Heaven

Duckingella · 07/03/2024 00:58

Affordable fringe

Blarn · 07/03/2024 01:00

Flying Solo with young singles renting in suburbs.

Not at all accurate, its all older people who have always lived here or families who have bought. And hatchback and bus are the most popular ways to travel - I can see the train station from my house!

‘Please enter a valid postcode’
😂
I don’t think it wants to acknowledge us.

It doesn't like a gap, or lower case.
