Mosaic Portrait - Experian Consumer Information Portal (experianmarketingservices.digital)

Over 150 different segments. Apparently I live in a budget generation area.
So many to choose from.
They then sell this data to marketing companies to do what they want with it.

Hmm.... Mid-career Convention- Professional families with children in traditional mid-range suburbs where neighbours are often older.

Well we have cats, not children but our neighbours on each side are widowed men in their 80s. Our house is from the 1930s so it's definitely traditional mid-range. Funny how some bits apply to DH and others apply to me but together we make up the description.

Modern Parents. Very accurate for where we live.

Ditto. Except for the pet rabbit…I don’t know anybody who has one 🤷🏻‍♀️

FijiSea · 06/03/2024 23:07

Is this England only ?

ThreeMetresSquare · 06/03/2024 23:08

Cafes and catchments, a pretty accurate assessment of our area and neighbours. I also put in my old post code and my mum's and again both pretty spot on!

TheHangryAzureBird · 06/03/2024 23:08

Premium fortunes, which is correct for the little enclave I live in.

Runnerduck34 · 06/03/2024 23:09

Rural vogue🤣
Not sure it's a particularly good fit!

SpeculatingRooks · 06/03/2024 23:10

Scattered homesteads! Most people aged 66+ with horses and off roaders. Very true

QueefofSheena · 06/03/2024 23:11

Thriving Independence here too. Well qualified older singles with income from professional careers, in good quality housing. It’s mainly families with older DC or retired couples, but the rest is fair.

TesticularHeft · 06/03/2024 23:11

Dependable me.

Disagree as this is full on suburban central with estate cars, full of families but I'd say older parents. There are 5 primary schools and 5 high schools within a mile, maybe 1.5.

Icanbuildasnowman · 06/03/2024 23:11

Wealthy landowners for us.
Pretty accurate for our postcode (it is a strange postcode as it has 50 addresses!)
I would say within those addresses there are a mix of:
Wealthy landowners
Wealthy non landowners
Landowners non Wealthy (us!!)

Hobbies pretty accurate, broadband accurate, vehicles and fuel accurate, apparently 5+ holidays a year- definitely not accurate for us!

mitogoshi · 06/03/2024 23:12

Apparently we are contemporary starts - most the other info is correct (except the local supermarket is Lidl not Aldi) but they have the age range wrong, there are very few under 35's unless living with parents here, it's expensive!

bookworm14 · 06/03/2024 23:12

‘Metro high-flyers’, which doesn’t describe my area at all.

Ketzele · 06/03/2024 23:13

I got retirement communities which is bafflingly wrong. I'm in a very nappy valley part of London where young families pay ludicrously high prices to get to the excellent state schools, then sell up and move out when their kids grow up!

WhistlingBrooks · 06/03/2024 23:14

AhhSlippedOnMahBeansRitaaa · 06/03/2024 22:55

I'm so poor my post code isn't even valid Sad

Make sure you only put in capital letters in your postcode.

finished31 · 06/03/2024 23:14

Bank of Mum and Dad.

Say that again with two in uni. 😟

Freetodowhatiwant · 06/03/2024 23:15

Cafes and catchments - pretty accurate!

FijiSea · 06/03/2024 23:15

Tried my Scottish post code it doesn’t recognize 🙄

redfacebigdisgrace · 06/03/2024 23:16

My Scottish postcode works

Merrymouse · 06/03/2024 23:16

I put in my postcode, my parent’s and my last address, and apparently everyone is going on at least 5 holidays a year.

Is that normal?

TesticularHeft · 06/03/2024 23:17

Actually! I take it back. I've just done a postcode a few streets away. My cul de sac has 12 houses. 7 of them are older couples or single people with no children at home and 1 has an adult son living with them. It's actually scarily accurate.

The estate on the whole tho is not this and more matches the other street. Modern parents.

feellikeanalien · 06/03/2024 23:17

Scattered homesteads. Makes it sound like Little House on the Prairie. Not entirely accurate though but I suppose I am older and appreciate rural calm.

Oh and the Co-op is the only supermarket within easy reach so I suppose they are right about that.

I'm just waiting for my 5 bedroom house to appear.

GoodlifeGlow · 06/03/2024 23:18

Rural Vogue 70% correct

PinkBuffalo · 06/03/2024 23:18

Down to earth owners

Fizzadora · 06/03/2024 23:18

Down to earth owners - ageing couple who have owned their inexpensive home for many years while working in mundane jobs.
Everything was spot on except that they seem to think we've got no money when we've actually got loads and own the house next door too (DC and family live there in exchange for repaying the renovation costs before anyone starts on about landlords).

RogueFemale · 06/03/2024 23:20

Uptown Elite and pretty accurate except for number of bedrooms.
