Mosaic Portrait - Experian Consumer Information Portal (experianmarketingservices.digital)

Over 150 different segments. Apparently I live in a budget generation area.
So many to choose from.
They then sell this data to marketing companies to do what they want with it.

The age range is completely off too!

Mothership4two · 07/03/2024 01:04

Mid-career Convention - Professional families with children in traditional mid-range suburbs where neighbours are often older.

We're the older neighbours!

In our immediate area, out of 20 neighbours, there is one baby and one primary aged child. Most of our neighbours are retired or close to it.

OldMrsHempstock · 07/03/2024 01:05

Cafés & catchments. Pretty accurate.

Turkeyhen · 07/03/2024 01:07

Penthouse Chic. Not accurate Confused

toomanypillows · 07/03/2024 01:11

Self Supporters.
Really off for me - it lists GCSEs as highest education achievements, and mature singles who have mortgages on budget 2 bed houses and have low incomes

I have 3 degrees and a doctorate, age range wasn't widely out but I do own a 4 bed house, and am married and financially very solvent.

We have quite a lot of young families in our post code and most of the houses are 3/4 bed, so it doesn't feel hugely reflective of the reality.
Don't know about the finances and education of course.
Very very interesting though

Self Supporters .

oh yeah the nickname comes from the Jenna Raine song in case you wondered.

CosyFanTucci · 07/03/2024 01:30

I was hoping for Rural Vogue but got Village Retirees ☹️

Fluffyhoglets · 07/03/2024 01:34

Thriving independence. Scarily accurate except there not many singles in the postcode.

overwork · 07/03/2024 02:40

I'm a metro high flyer apparently.
We are bucking the trend though, we're older than that and we have a child.
But I think it's fairly accurate for the rest of the postcode!

Imafirestartertwisterfirestarterheyheyhey · 07/03/2024 02:47

Uptown Elite. I would describe the area in which I live as many things. Neither of them being either uptown or elite. 😂

Onacuctustree · 07/03/2024 03:00

Fledgling free.
I have 3 children ...
The markers seem about right though.

Luckycloverz · 07/03/2024 03:05

Diamond Days 💎
I should be retired in a 5bed + detached house with a sizeable pension and assets. Well I can only hope this will become more true as I get to retirement age in 30yrs...

2024horizons · 07/03/2024 03:13

How are there so many 🤣

Bus route renter.

It is a major bus route to the airport. I don't rent though, I am personally offended.

Holly2285 · 07/03/2024 03:19

Contemporary starts. It is probably true actually

Igmum · 07/03/2024 04:00

Uptown Elite.

I like the sound of the one with a cafe...

itsgettingweird · 07/03/2024 04:20

I got flying solo.

Apparently full of young people wanting to settle down in the suburbs and start a family.

RashOfBees · 07/03/2024 04:24

Another cafes and catchments here. I’d say it’s pretty accurate, but the cafes and restaurants are taking a hit now and many closing so they might have to change that part if things don’t improve. The smug little people don’t look like our neighbours, thankfully.

The category above is ‘Dependable Me’. Talk about condescending!

ooooohnoooooo · 07/03/2024 04:39

Cafe and catchments - affluent families with growing children living in upmarket housing in city environs 😬

Let's just say we moved here a long time ago and definitely couldn't afford to buy here now 😂😂😂

PansyOatZebra · 07/03/2024 04:47

Legacy Elders lol… I’m 31!

Pinksmyfavoritecolour · 07/03/2024 05:06

Contemporary starts 🤷‍♀️
I'm 53 in a 1960's semi

cryinglaughing · 07/03/2024 05:08

Wealthy Landowners.

Four out of eight of us with the same postcode have land, so partly accurate.
Not sure we'd class ourselves as wealthy though.

Ritasueandbobtoo9 · 07/03/2024 05:20

Scattered homesteads. It is quite accurate apart from Vocational qualifications. At least 5 people have degrees in my postcode so that is definitely wrong.

PurBal · 07/03/2024 05:26

Satellite Settlers. Not accurate for us but interesting all the same.

PostmanPatriciasCat · 07/03/2024 05:33

Thriving Independents. ETA the detail is fairly accurate.

Kalettesarethebest · 07/03/2024 05:38

Cafes and catchments
