For the second evening in a row I've skipped dinner and gone straight for a no cook plate of toast, duck and orange pate and cucumber. It's fattening but so addictive. The salty sweet pate and crunchy cucumber is so moreish.

What are your addiction inducing meals or snacks (dare I say 'picky bits')?

clare8allthepies · 06/03/2024 21:44

I’m utterly addicted to kimchi noodles even though it’s like playing Russian roulette with my digestive system! 🤣

Those onion rings crisps. I cannot have them in the house or I will eat the entire bag.

Yeah, share bag my arse! 🤣🤣🤣

43ontherocksporfavor · 06/03/2024 21:44

Oh and I don’t buy crisps because they are lethal.

Crikeyalmighty · 06/03/2024 21:44

Nairns gluten free versions of mini cheddars !!

Xyz1234567 · 06/03/2024 21:47

The Pringles in the green tube and Maom pinballs.

MoonWoman69 · 06/03/2024 21:47

Mine is smoked salmon! Got 3 packs for a tenner at Morrisons, had to force myself to freeze two packs or they would have gone in no time! I have no "I'm full" level for it at all! If I'm doing bagels, I've eaten half of it before I get to sorting them out!
And sour fizzy sweets...

viques · 06/03/2024 21:47

At the moment it’s kimchi, or saurkraut. I find myself sidling up to the fridge with a spoon for a fix.

Xyz1234567 · 06/03/2024 21:48

I could also eat a whole packet of digestive biscuits, even better with butter and cheese.

Yozzer87 · 06/03/2024 21:50

medjoul dates.

Fox’s Viennese biscuits are like crack to me

Natoora Gorgonzola Dolce. When I die it will be the blood in my veins.

HappyHappyy · 06/03/2024 21:56

Mini cheddars and those Cadbury caramel eggs, especially when they've had a day in the fridge. Perfectly jammy boiled eggs, those expensive Burford eggs are my new favourite hobby that I can't afford

Whosmoralsarelastix · 06/03/2024 21:57

BOMBAY MIX

Haven't touched the stuff in decades but bought two packets recently and hoovered them, barely taking a breath, in a matter of days. It is so amazingly delicious but I can never ever run the risk of buying this again.

I think it's about 50 million calories a handful.

TheLadyIsAVamp · 06/03/2024 22:00

Kabanos dipped in mustard, mini cheddars or the bigger biscuit sized ones, packet of mi goreng noodles with loads of fresh coriander, celery dipped in ranch, beef mini chips or TBone steak Roysters, spicy buffalo chicken wings, mini satay sticks, gherkins.

mealideas2024 · 06/03/2024 22:01

Ready salted kettle chips and hummus

manipulatrice · 06/03/2024 22:06

Mini eggs. I am going to turn into a mini egg at this rate. Especially the chocolate orange ones.

Alicewinn · 06/03/2024 22:07

Go carefully with those - eating too many in one go can make you really ill.

My current thing is potato waffles, toasted then fried with a bit of butter to make them crispy. Served with a soft fried egg - soooo good but terrible for me I know.

Scorchio84 · 06/03/2024 22:32

Oh @QuestionableMouse I never thought of frying AFTER toasting! That's genius, thanks!

SallyWD · 06/03/2024 22:42

Cheese. It's always been cheese.
