I'm 33 and I know/recognise a lot of them. Some of them I didn't realise I knew until I heard their songs. I keep pretty up to date with pop culture and new music though to be fair.

Loved Jungle and Raye is incredible. Saw her live back in 2018 at a Pride event…she’s phenomenal performer and has achieved so much as an independent, black, female artist.

Not just you. I read that RAYE had won the most Brit awards in one night, so listened to the first few tracks of her album.

Both DW and I turned to each other and said something along the lines of, "She's OK, but that sounds so over-produced... she can clearly write, and arguably sing, but it's hard to tell behind all that 'production'."

Even the nominees I’ve never heard of. I have the radio on all day at work as well. The Brits certainly don’t represent music listening across the country in my opinion. If Kyle wasn’t on at the end, I’d have not known anyone except dua Lipa.

Kylie was superb. The rest of it was utter garbage.

I used to love it and watch when I was younger.
I’ve also been a few times for work.

It used to attract some really big stars and bands. Now there seems to be a lot of reality tv people. I know the industry has changed alot due to social media so perhaps that’s why. (Or it’s just my age 👵🏻)

I like Raye, her lyrics are very relatable for me as a nearly 60 year old and also for my 20 year old daughter. Also love Calvin Harris and Kylie was brilliant as always.

DH and I laughing at Chase and Status (won best producer). We both surmised they were ex public school educated and now very much Ali G styled ….a quick Look on their Wikipedia page and we were right!

Watched most of it with my 15 year old daughter and was surprised at how many she knew! Nice to hear her engage (albeit briefly!) in something that isn’t her phone. I recognised some of the songs from tiktok etc but couldn’t have told you who most of the artists were.
