Can we discuss Geri

I never knew she started having a relationship with Christian Horner whilst his long term partner was pregnant.
And that Christian left his partner for Geri whilst his long term partner was heavily pregnant.
I've only found this out by seeing the story about Christian's text message scandal on the internet.
This is truly shocking to me.
Is it really true? Or has it been misreported or exaggerated online?
I know things get misreported online. But if it's true, then this will really badly affect my opinion of Geri, who I've always really liked a lot.
Secondly, I googled images of Geri, and I noticed every image of her shows her wearing white clothes. White dresses. White suits. White tops. White trousers. White skirts. White knitwear. White ski gear. White swimsuit. It struck me as a bit odd, even possibly showing a bit of an obsessive trait - having to wear the same colour all the time. Does anyone else find this a bit unsettling?
If anyone on here is lucky enough to know her, is Geri ok?

Money puts a certain veneer on things. As does power. The F1 environment is a very heady place, fucking about is the norm, and you're all very insular and 'in it' together.

Wearing all white is a "princessy" thing. In no way equivalent to wearing all black - in fact you could argue it's literally the opposite. It's expensive and impractical (from the point of view of cleaning and activities). It's a wealth and leisure signifier.

Also makes you stand out in a crowd and in photos (even black and white photos). Attention-grabbing, but with more perceived "class" and more plausible deniability ("oh it's just my uniform!") than bright colours. Cultural overtones of innocence/purity/youth.

Also it suits her.

Enough reasons for her to keep doing it. I see Meghan using white outfits a lot as well.

I like the white. I wish I could get away with it. It's a bit weird she doesn't throw in the occasional bit of blue or pink, with her colouring. I don't like women who fuck other people's partners knowingly behind their backs, especially when they're pregnant. I feel less sympathy for her now as a result as what goes around comes around That's about the extent of my thoughts on the matter.

I spoke to my ks4 students about this concept only this week. If you have a talent and pursuing it means you become recognised, eg singer, actor, writer, musician, do you give up the right to a private life in every sphere?

Their resounding conclusion was no. Information and endeavours put up for public consumption are one thing, but feeling this entitles you to a public slandering of somebody's appearance, relationship, private choices and so on, is a regrettable side to social media.

Do I develop opinions on people in the public eye? Idly speculate? Certainly yes. It is a very human trait. But I've really tried to think objectively about it recently and come to the conclusion that I will do my best not to do it. I don't accept that somebody pursuing a career means they have to put up with this as "expected".

I'm not starting a thread based on her choice of partner.
I'm starting a thread to ask is it really true she started a relationship with CH whilst he was in a long term relationship with his partner WHO WAS PREGNANT at the time, I'm saying this is what I've just been reading online (as a result of the texting saga) and I'm asking is it true or made up/exaggerated?

Do you seriously expect anyone posting on this thread to be able to definitively answer this for you? How on earth would anyone know?

And if it turns out he was cheating with Geri and you boycott her kids books, will you also undertake to boycott all art created by someone who cheated on their spouse? That rules out the vast majority of all literature, cinema, pop and rock music, visual art. Why is Geri Halliwell Horner being held to some absurd standard?

I have no particular allegiance to Geri and I am not a fan of cheating or overlapping relationships but they happen. Ridiculous to believe you can cancel anyone who doesn’t have a completely vanilla relationship history.

Who cares about Geri? She has just had a massive dose of public humiliation and karma.
She now knows how that feels.
He won't give a shit. He has no moral compass and the pr team will be working overtime trying to minimise it all.
I feel for his children and that's where my sympathy lies. It must be humiliating for them.
