Can we discuss Geri

I never knew she started having a relationship with Christian Horner whilst his long term partner was pregnant.
And that Christian left his partner for Geri whilst his long term partner was heavily pregnant.
I've only found this out by seeing the story about Christian's text message scandal on the internet.
This is truly shocking to me.
Is it really true? Or has it been misreported or exaggerated online?
I know things get misreported online. But if it's true, then this will really badly affect my opinion of Geri, who I've always really liked a lot.
Secondly, I googled images of Geri, and I noticed every image of her shows her wearing white clothes. White dresses. White suits. White tops. White trousers. White skirts. White knitwear. White ski gear. White swimsuit. It struck me as a bit odd, even possibly showing a bit of an obsessive trait - having to wear the same colour all the time. Does anyone else find this a bit unsettling?
If anyone on here is lucky enough to know her, is Geri ok?

I predominantly wear black.

I think black is basic and practical. White is far more difficult to source and maintain. Maybe a white top is easy to find, but white coats, dresses and all that are far, far less common than black. Virtually everything comes in black. And lots of people wear lots of black.

I do remember reading (on here I think) that even his own parents didn't speak to him when he left his pregnant partner so that tells you a lot about him

I'm not buying her it's quicker and easier to get ready if you always wear the same colour schtik ....as if she's a harassed working mum doing the school or nursery run, and trying to make her washing loads easier 🙄....but if it suits her and she likes it and has a lifestyle to accommodate a white wardrobe then why not.

I'm starting a thread to ask is it really true she started a relationship with CH whilst he was in a long term relationship with his partner WHO WAS PREGNANT at the time, I'm saying this is what I've just been reading online (as a result of the texting saga) and I'm asking is it true or made up/exaggerated?
And the reason I want to know is because if it's true then this is so far removed from my own moral compass - to start sleeping and having an affair with a man who's partner is heavily pregnant - that I can't actually get my head around it, and it does absolutely make me think of Geri in a completely different light if it's true.
I won't, for example, buy her children's story books for my DD if it's true and not just a rumour.
So I started the thread to find out.

I get that people are interested in famous people's lives. I am in some too.

But your language verges on hysterical - if it's true that this famous singer behaved immorally, a way you would not, you'd be personally affected by it, to the extent that you'd change your opinion of her?

Yes, she did OP. It was well-known and much discussed at the time. Her friends justified it with something along the lines of 'Geri deserves her happy ending, because she's waited a long time for it' or some such shite.

Re the cheating I have the same opinion I have of anyone who cheats, no better or worse because she's famous. It's a shitty thing to do.

The bulk of my contempt however is reserved for a man who cheats on his pregnant partner. In many ways who he chooses to cheat with is irrelevant. He's a piece of shit for betraying the woman carrying his child.

He split with his ex a few months after the baby was born. As much as he was seen at races with Geri, they did not publicly start dating till a few months later. As in a few months after the split.

My understanding is that he was trying for IVF with his long term wife / partner and was getting closer to Geri - may or maybe not have been a physical affair - only they know. Shortly after the birth he left completely and went to live and marry Geri and have a child with her. That was about 10 years or so ago. His parents I believe refused to go to his wedding as they could not believe what he had done - I don’t know if they are in contact now.

similar to any man who does not support his wife or partner 100% during and after pregnancy - I do not like him for that reason. I could be clouded by my own situation my ex was foul to me on pregnancy, he never did a night feed or changed a nappy or fed the baby despite saying he would. He allowed me to verbally and emotionally abused by his family etc

What do you mean 'fell for the bollox'. He was in a relationship and having a child when she knew him. She pursued him relentlessly if gossip on the track is to be believed. Then set about creating some grand love story. Neither of them come out looking good here.
