Best coffee machine for my bedroom...

...I know that, that may be a little odd. But I am not a morning person and I need coffee as soon as possible to start the day.

I'm about to split from husband and he makes me coffee and brings it up to me. So I need a coffee machine in my bedroom then I will have no need for a man anymore!! Haha.

I'm terrible at choosing these things. What will make me a nice coffee quickly in the morning?...with no need for milk in my bedroom.

Thanks

Dolce gusto. Easy to use, you can pods cheaper that are compatible

@QuestionableMouse more and more councils are recycling them, my local one does.

Just made my second coffee of the day with the dolce gusto and this time its a gingerbread costa latte. You can get some really interesting flavours.

We have the Tassimo, yes it's liquid milk (some kind of concentrated UHT it must be) and then espresso mixed together, one pod for the milk one for the coffee. It's nothing like a vending machine, yes it's not quite as nice as proper milk - I tend to buy the pods just with coffee in for me, and add my own milk from the fridge whereas DH will buy the cappucino or café latte ones. I find they just taste a little bit - don't know how to describe it. You know the mouthfeel when you have cakes that have been made with oil, rather than butter? It's a tiny bit like that, but the taste is fine. I do have one of his occasionally if I feel like one in the afternoon, I just find it cheaper to buy the just-coffee and add my own milk. You get 3x as many for the same price with the coffee ones.

If you look on youtube you can see people making them, you do get the proper layers which looks quite cool.

There are some like Chai Latte, or hot chocolate, which are powdered milk which aren't as nice.

We have just bought a Tassimo Suny because it was cheap and not too bulky, and we're very happy with it. There are pods which contain (dried) milk as well but we haven't tried any of those so I have no idea whether they are nice or not, and there isn't that much selection to choose from in those.

Less fancy option if you need one just for the short term, I also am crap at getting up and have a DH who brings me coffee in the morning - when he went away for the weekend I made a thermos of coffee at bedtime and bought it upstairs with a cup for the morning!
