Hardest one so far, I think! I knew the connection for the green but there were five I thought it could be and kept switching out the wrong one! Blue I only got by default.

Only managed that with the hints, I would never have guessed those connections otherwise.

We really need a UK version.

God that was hard. I spotted purple straight away but only 3/4. Not convinced on day being in the category it is!

Green was a guess and spotted the purples. Would never have got the blues.

It's simplest to google NYT Connections hints, as there are a few sources. Normally I would resist it but there are some days like today when you really realise that Americans speak a different language.

Annoyingly I could have got the green one first time if I had thought it through. Last row definitely by elimination though.

It's a rare one for me to get Purple first! Had to go away for a bit and think after Purple, because a couple of the Yellows could have been Greens, and I was pretty sure I'd got the connection for Green.

The yellows were quite easy - but having seen the answers I wouldn't have got them even if I'd looked at it all day . Not seen the hints but how much do they help when the answers don't mean anything to you ? Normally I've at least for some idea of the connection .
