Same with purple, they just seemed to go together.

Also think some of the words would be used in a different way in the phrases, either plurals, with another word or another letter added.

Yes, I think the lack of a plural on that word is just incorrect! And gives it an entirely new meaning

Got it but still feel unsatisfied! I was lucky that I saw the singular word while looking for the something close to the intended meaning rather than the more natural one for the singular form.
