Mine is when the thread is something along the lines of "what's your favourite dinner?" Or "Worst holiday you've ever been on?" And OP replies to every single post!

OP posts:

@ASighMadeOfStone , on the cesspit of nastiness that Pedants' Corner has become I don't find it nasty at all.

I often see posts that are barely readable. If I am concerned about the poster I'll reword it and ask if that was what the OP meant.

The post I mentioned upthread was one where the poster had made a statement about what I'd posted and had directed it at me. The gist of it was that my point was wrong but the sentence was garbled.

Overuse of stupid laughing face emojis does my head in. This is also the case for my neighbourhood WhatsApp group.
'Has anyone got my parcel?😆'
What did it contain, a joke book or a tickling stick?

An annual annoyance is about to occur.

Posts moaning about husbands daring to buy a gift for/have lunch with/go and visit their mums on Mother's Day.
What about meeeeeeeeee?
I'M A MOTHER TOO.

Posts that end up in a vicious bunfight between randoms, that have nothing to do with the original post.

"You sound lovely" said to posters/OP in a sycophantic way. Not in a sarcastic way. It was said recently in a post where the OP's partner had asked her to stop shouting and being aggressive to their small children. A number of posters said he was out of order, she was just stressed and that she had a partner problem. Someone said the above annoying sentence. The OP sounded like a nasty bully.

Persistent use of the term 'naice'

Yes

I hate the use of "pop" - "off you pop" is very grim, a "pop of colour" is a horrible expression to me.

Thread killing is awful - and I am guilty of it, I want to do better in future.

But I started on mumsnet decades ago and it was a very different experience, much more chill in that respect - or that's how I comfort myself when I've killed a perfectly vibrant 600 strong thread with some personal tangent.

People saying that others are "envious" or jealous" when they mean they disagree.
