She's just popped up on my IG and gosh she dancing 10 fold tonight!!!

Dont know what it is but it all intrigues me, she looms happy enough though 💃

I am on some heavy duty opiates to manage nerve pain after sarcoma operations. Britney looks as glazed and spaced out as I do when I take a full dose. The look in her eyes is unmistakable. I guess she has arrived at this bad place where the only way she feels validated is by doing repetitive dance moves in very little clothing for her online 'fans'. It is not an entirely surprising outcome given her early childhood star status, followed by a pop career spanning decades where she knows nothing but how to dance and sing. Now she got what she wanted in terms of legal freedom, but money doesn't buy happiness or loyalty from others. She doesn't have custody of her kids, her husband has jumped ship and she has a sketchy relationship with her family. Her hired help are not going to tell her it is inappropriate, or else they will be sacked. This is what she is left to cling to after all these years, and with no one telling her what everyone else sees.

I worry about this too. She’s had such a sad life.

Oh dear. I had to have a nose after reading this thread but wish I hadn't. Poor girl.

I grew up listening to Britney, loved her (still do!), I've actually just finished watching Crossroads for the 1000th time as it's on Netflix and as I was watching I just felt really sad. I read her autobiography too. She's been let down and had her soul sold by those meant to protect her from a very young age. I really pray I'm wrong but I agree with PP that something bad will happen to her ☹️

I had to unfollow her on IG last year. I just cannot watch.

I grew up alongside her (age wise) and was a huge fan back in the day. Watching her sad decline on IG is just awful. She is clearly unwell. I also fear it will not end well. I hope I'm wrong....

Sadly I agree. She's been so failed and abused by family and partners over the last several decades, that trauma plus possible mental illness, plus drug use is a devastating combination. And one it's hard to see her overcoming without solid family/friend support which appears lacking. Really, really sad.

I dont want to look, it's such a shame🙁

She looks like someone with MH issues that has been shielded from the knowledge of the growth of social media and hasn’t “got” it yet.

Like this is the sort of thing we would have posted 20 years ago as drunk 20 somethings but in the intervening years we’ve learned what a performative shit hole SM is.

Wasn't there some talk of her having a degenerative neurological condition during the conservatorship hearings? Was that ever disproved? The constant spinning and repetitive dancing looks symptomatic of that to me. In which case, why hasn't someone stopped her posting on SM.

I unfollowed Britney on IG a while ago because it’s so sad.

There’s a post that seems to hint her family didn’t allow her to have alcohol and since the end of the conservatorship she had rediscovered her love of alcohol.

Just watched. With 20+ yrs experience of someone with Bipolar, she looks manic. Or seriously using alcohol/drugs.

A lot of people made a lot of money out of Britney. I bet they have lovely lives now. I wonder if they feel any guilt when they see how she's turned out?

90% of her insta posts are sexually suggestive dance routines to camera. I immediately wondered if she's been sexually abused.

I looked and it was worse than I expected. I'm really surprised anyone think she looks happy. She looks so very unwell - manic perhaps and in need of help.

I think because of the conservatorship and the fact her family were awful, people pushed the narrative that she is totally fine and just needed to be free. While I would argue that she did need to be out of it, I also think she has extreme mental health or substance abuse issues and she is declining.

I don't know what it is about her eyes but they're really odd. I really hope she recovers one day.

The one with the cigarette, jc, she could have set her hair on fire. She needs ro be supervised and seems to be alone when filming these. Hopefully there's someone in the background keeping an eye.

@ThePoshUns Gosh yes it is a bit like that film . She just looked very mentally fragile.

Her son's have begged her to stop posting about them, or naked videos.

I was the biggest Britney fan.

I still love her music, but if this was not a celebrity we had seen grow up she would simply be a woman with severe mental health struggles and possible addiction issues who is estranged from her son's. People would be so much harsher on her without the celebrity.

While she's had so much pressure she also has access to the best mental health support in the world.

She reminds me of Prince Harry in a way that I think we all remember that little boy and want to protect him.

I want to hug Brit and also shake her and tell her to get her shit together.

I feel sorry for her. She's so far gone.

I don't know how anyone can look at those videos and see anything other than a seriously unwell woman.

I just had a look on IG and really wish I hadn’t. Poor woman.
