At 40:
Married 14 years (together 16) with two kids (9 & 12)

Now at 48:
Still married 22 years (together 24) with two kids (16 & 19)

Where the hell does the time go??? 😮

This is the situation I am in right now. It’s my birthday this week and he hasn’t arranged anything, he didn’t get me anything for Christmas either, it’s a LDR so I won’t even be seeing him. I predict I may be single again by the end of the week.

Divorced, but had been seeing my now husband for 2 years.

At 40 I had been single 4 years, one child.

Married to DH and with four children (one died).

40 - married for 3 years and pregnant.

I’d been married for 22 years (together for 23) and had two DC aged 17 and 14. Crazy but true. Still together

If I’m still with hubby when I’m 40 (as this is future me) then we’ll have been together for 14 years, married for 7, with a 13 year old and a 7 year old.

I was single. Had not even had my first relationship.

Married 10 years with two pre-school DC.

I was single throughout most of my twenties, though.

At 40 I had been in a relationship for 13 years, married for 4, and had one DC who was then 2.

Married 12 years and together 18. 3 kids 8, 6 and 3.

I was single for 16 years when I was 40. I met someone when I was 44.

It will be (hopefully) - married for 12 years with an 10year old and 7 year old!

It was married to an abusive alcoholic twat. (I was divorced by 43 though thankfully)

Separated the year I turned 40. 1 DC preschool age.

I had been with DH for 20 years and had 3 kids. They were 2, 9 and 10. I was VERY unhappy.
I'm now divorced, in a relationship of 4 years with a 12, 19 and 20 year old and just trying to figure life out.

Ten years ago now so I'd been married for nearly 16 years and had 2 sons. A 13 and 14 year old.

I got married on my 40th birthday, together 10 years. 2 kids between us.. Late teens.

Very single, had been for years, then met DH a couple of months after my birthday.

Married but was widowed at 47. Was married 19 years

Been with him since age 28. Married at 37

At 40 was a widow and had been for 5 years, 1 baby and a nearly 11 year old.

Not the best of years, but you do what you need to do to get through.
