Can you do a press up and how old are you?

I’m 55 and do an awesome plank. But my press-up is an apologetic little dip you’d hardly notice. I don’t know hoe you get better at it…

Yes. I am 49. If you can’t do any you just have to start with box ones and then gradually progress. A few each day. You can do it!!

only when doing a tuck plank. for some reason I can't from long plank position.

I can plank for 4 and a half minutes but never try doing press ups- no idea how many I'd be able to do?! I'm 34

Yes I progessed from none to several weighted ones, I think I got to 2kg.

Then I had a month off the gym and I realised I could barely even do a single one so I'm back to working my way up. Did 5 in a row the other day, they aren't amazing yet but I'll get stronger.

I do what I can on my goes then do several on my knees. Repeat the process until you can do more and more.

I'm 37, 38 in a few month's.

I'm 28, always been fit and healthy but never been able to do a push up!

I can hold a 3 minute plank so in theory I should be able to but don't even come close.

But do you do strength training - arm and shoulder workouts with heavy-ish dumbbells... a game changer!

52 - yes but they are hell on my wrists. I'm working on improving them. Currently doing Heather Robertson 4.0 on YouTube
