What's going on at yours tonight?

I'm doom scrolling, waiting for everyone to shower so I can go to bed in peace 💤💤 . I've been scrolling for some new paint brushes but not really sure what to buy - my current ones are from The Works & are knackered, but I don't know what I'm looking for really 🤷‍♀️

Dd1's just in the shower & will hopefully be done very soon! Dd2's faffing with her hair and practising make up, as usual. She was doing maths homework but has packed up for the night now.

What's going on at yours?

Celebrating Ireland's win 🏆 against France with my third glass of wine! I'm not a big drinker so I may be suffering in the morning. Still listening to the rugby commentary. DD is working tomorrow, so she's gone to bed. DCats want their bedtime snacks. It's a bank holiday weekend here, so I've a nice long weekend stretching out ahead of me.

DDs and DDNieces (sleeping over tonight) are all sound asleep now. We had takeaway for dinner which was delicious. DH and I now on sofa with a glass of wine and half watching Netflix. We’re all up early tomorrow for biggest DDs tennis tournaments but right now, I’m enjoying relaxing with blanket too much to make a move to bed!

I've had to be out for fun or duty every weeknight this week so I was glad to just be home. We did Jewish Friday night stuff, then we catched up on the Masked Singer after dinner and at a (really nice) cookie dough dessert I bought on reduced shelf at Tesco. I recommend the reduced shelf for desserts!

DD had just gone to bed, we watched X Files together but now I'm watching Chesapeake Bay, an easy watching Hallmark series. Idyllic small town by the sea (supposed to be Baltimore but is filmed in Vancouver). Everyone is very good looking, the kids are always very well behaved and do what they are told, there's always a handsome single man and beautiful conflicted career woman...
My DD is off abroad on work experience for a month Monday and it will be weird to have an empty house soon, so weekend will be spent doing laundry!

We’ve had a quiet night here, mainly due to laziness. We’re off for a little weekend away, so I’m just packing some bits now so we don’t have to pack a lot in the morning. The dogs licking himself as loudly as he can, my husbands snoring and our two year old is shouting to herself to keep herself awake.

Husband is (I assume) at the pub. I've been to the cinema. Now watching tv in bed and starving but cannot be bothered to eat so hoping I can fall asleep soon and ignore my hunger!
