I'm doom scrolling, waiting for everyone to shower so I can go to bed in peace 💤💤 . I've been scrolling for some new paint brushes but not really sure what to buy - my current ones are from The Works & are knackered, but I don't know what I'm looking for really 🤷‍♀️

Dd1's just in the shower & will hopefully be done very soon! Dd2's faffing with her hair and practising make up, as usual. She was doing maths homework but has packed up for the night now.

What's going on at yours?

Had a Chinese takeaway (roast pork with mixed veg) then a hot cross bun. Done some hoovering, DH took over.

DD back from school A level mock week and has a 3rd university offer, came in at normal offer then she phoned them and got it reduced to contextual. Couple of loads of washing on.

DH is working. I'm watching the rugby with a glass of wine after making ginger chicken udon for dinner. DC (20 and 15) are about to take our 3 dogs out for a walk (15yo just takes our two old ones around our street).

Sat holding a sick bowl next to my 3 year old who is poorly and vomiting, going to be a long night I think. We had tickets for a event a our local farm tomorrow so I'm hoping they will let us swap them for a different day!

I had a Uni interview today, and after stressing about it all week, not sleeping well and dreaming about it I think I did well! I’m very glad it’s over, but I feel proud of myself tonight.

Treated myself to a takeaway and had a glass of something nice after picking my son up from his friends. He’s gaming now and I’m going to fall into bed soon and hopefully have a lie in!

Im watching the documentary about Nicola Bulley. TBH im still unsure exactly what happened to her, there was no trace of anyone slipping into the river. Its very sad.

I do art brushes mainly
But can do decorating ones.

Cass art "acrylic" brushes I would go for a tapered brush.

Spend a bit more, clean them well, let them air dry. You won't need to buy another set for a while.

Just back from a climbing session, the highlight of which was my five year old complaining about his harness and shouting “IT IS HURTING MY PENIS!!!” at the top of his voice 😬. Children now eating quiche and watching The Worst Witch while I seem to have finished half a bottle of wine in about twenty minutes (I give up alcohol for Lent and it is so early this year following right on the heels of Dry January that I’m going to spend the next two weeks basically drunk 🤣)
