For me, liver (or any offal) and mushy peas. In fact, mushy peas would ruin any food for me. Eww.

CremeEggThief · 31/01/2024 21:22

primprim · 31/01/2024 21:33

Any kind of stew or casserole. Some care how nourishing or warming it is!

Jemimapuddleduk · 31/01/2024 21:35

I will eat most things but had a Parmo for the first time ever a few weeks back and it was truly revolting.

EmpressSoleil · 31/01/2024 21:39

Anything involving prawns. Its not just a dislike, it borders on an actual phobia. I can't watch other people eat them. If I see them on TV I have to look away. Turns out both my DC like them but they had to discover that away from the home! And they aren't allowed to cook them here. I wouldn't have them in the house.

SnapdragonToadflax · 31/01/2024 21:39

Rare meat
Soggy bread
Overcooked cabbage
Celery
Jelly

chopinwaltz26 · 31/01/2024 21:50

Turkey, as texture and taste are vile.

PoodlesRUs · 31/01/2024 21:51

Rice pudding. Which motherfucker invented that.

jackstini · 31/01/2024 21:52

Iceberg lettuce and cucumber - pointless, taste like gone off water

Tripe & baked beans - taste

Crème caramel - can't stand texture

Cincinnatus · 31/01/2024 21:52

Organs. Black pudding. Pate and I don’t really like mashed potato.

ColinRobinsonsFart · 31/01/2024 21:54

Pork, shellfish and jelly!

I went to my DHs boss for a meal and they served up prawn cocktail, pork and cream main course and a 'proper' ( DHs words) trifle for pudding.

It was a bit of a 1970s meal...

TravellingT · 31/01/2024 21:55

Fish curry. Went to a dinner party many years ago and it was the only thing they served. I claimed an allergy to fish and had some toast. The smell made me heave- my 2 least favourite foods!

JamAtTwo · 31/01/2024 21:55

Crème caramel - I’m the same - there’s something a bit questionable and sleazy about them.

How have people eaten tripe - is it accidentally? I just can’t imagine trying it. It’s probably good for you though ….

BarelyLiterate · 31/01/2024 22:00

Starter : Oysters. Make me heave.

Main : Anything containing okra. Disgusting, inedible slimy muck.

Pudding : Treacle tart. Bland, sickly sweet, not worth the calories.

thaisweetchill · 31/01/2024 22:05

Anything with tuna... the smell, the texture, the sight of it!!

Growlybear83 · 31/01/2024 22:13

Roast beef, roast potatoes, and cabbage. I find roast port and lamb just as revolting .

themusingsofaninsomniac · 31/01/2024 22:32

Blue cheese
Prawns
A seafood plate
Green beans
Beetroot
Grapefruit
Taramasalata
Chocolate eclairs
Lemon drizzle cake
A spirulina juice drink

Hopefully covered most food groups there too!
🤢

I'm the exact same! I've taken to saying it's an allergy to keep them well away from me. My MIL thought it was hilarious to put a giant one on my plate in an upscale restaurant and I near enough flipped the fucking thing in the air!

I've wondered if it's a neurodivergent thing for me.. but maybe there are other people out there who have the same hatred!

Seasaltsquall · 31/01/2024 22:43

Stew. Sloppy, and just... yuck.

Marcipex · 31/01/2024 22:49

TheOGCCL · 31/01/2024 22:52

A pie of any description, mashed potato and gravy. Absolutely revolting but I seem to have a dislike for all traditional British food.

Tomorrowtomorrow77 · 31/01/2024 22:53

Spam or anything like that, lumpy mash and swede/turnips/parsnips

Ibizafun · 31/01/2024 22:56

Black pudding..

ticktickticktickBOOM · 31/01/2024 23:04

Paella with all the seafoody bits in it, including the shells of the mussels.
Gritty, chewy, salty, highly likely polluted and stinks of fishy fish.
