Do you say “pardon me”/“excuse me” after each individual burp?

Was talking about this earlier with DD after dinner and she burped and said “pardon” and didn’t for the next 4 consecutive burps. I personally say it again after multiple burps or if I can feel another one brewing I’ll wait until after that one. Is there a correct etiquette regarding this?

Nah. If I'm alone I let rip.
If I'm with other people I'll get it all out and the say something like, "some people are just fucking rude"
"Oo I tasted that"
"No manners some people"
"Could almost chew that one."

So on and so on

No, there's no etiquette. There are no fineries around burping politely because it's not polite to burp (in British culture)!

I usually say oops if I’m with people. Or sometimes fuck me if it’s a big burp.

Your dd burped 5 times at dinner? I hardly ever burp at all. I don't think I've ever eaten with anyone thats burped at a table. That's really odd

It is literally a release of air you can’t control. That’s what a burp is. You can reduce the sound - is that what you mean?

Do people seriously not burp after a meal? Especially a large meal? I can burp 10-15 times after a large meal 🤣 I’d do it under my breath in public though.

I do not burp after a meal. I do not ever burp that anyone would notice. I would not be ok with anyone burping at the table.

No, not at all. I might get a few bubbly hiccups if I drink a fizzy drink too quickly but I don't even remember the last time I burped or the last time I heard someone burp. I would assume that someone who burps multiple times has an issue with the digestive system.
