Tonight’s meal is sorted but always good to have new ideas.

Steak haché with a runny fried egg on top, sweet potato fries and a green salad.

We had a lamb roast. Was bloody lovely.

We had roast chicken, roast potatoes, steam bag veg and a tray of red cabbage I found in the freezer left over from Christmas, with gravy.

Got roast chicken with roasted veg.

Roast chicken dinner, roast chicken, roasties, honey glazed parsnips, carrots, brocolli and yorkies.

Made a bit of an effort today - roast duck, with sauce bigarade, duck fat roast potatoes, roast parsnips, carrots and broccoli. To be followed by a far more mundane Tesco Greek lemon yoghurt :)

Roast pork and crackling! Mash potato and mash sweet potato , honey parsnips, cabbage, broccoli, carrots, apple and onion gravy.

DH is making fish pie, yum yum 🐟

Aw we used to have bigerade sauce growing up. Or ‘bugger daddy’ sauce as it became.

We had slow cooked brisket, air fryer roast potatoes and parsnips ❤️ peas, carrots, sweetcorn and Yorkshire puddings ❤️

Lamb shanks, goose fat roasties and buttered leeks. DP is in charge. So I assume there will be gravy too. Can't ask him as he's put it in the oven and retired to the bath while I watch the football.

Roast chicken, cauliflower cheese, roasted carrots/parsnips, peas, swede and potatoes. Mini pigs in blankets and proper gravy.

Ribollita made with Hodmedod's mixed beans and posh vegan sausages on top. I am a first time veganuary-er but have found it very easy and natural and have noticeably more energy, which I think is a natural corollary of being always anaemic and eating more iron-rich foods. I'm going to carry on.

We had beef Sunday lunch with Yorkshires, sprouts,carrots,peas and cauliflower, mash potatoes and onion gravy. ''Twas delicious. Tomorrow we're having beef and caramelised onion sandwiches on fat wedges of homemade bread.

Make your own kebabs: everyone chooses their own combination of prawns, chorizo, corn on the cob, mushrooms, peppers and onions. Served with pitta bread and minty yoghurt. Might make some coleslaw as well.

I do love a leftover roast beef sandwich.
