bit woo- but have you ever met anyone you have felt scared of for no reason?

I'm fascinated by stories like this- when you meet someone and they don't necessarily do anything - more that you just feel scared- intuition etc

I'm nearly 50 and it's happened once very strongly (was justified I later came to find out) and once not as strongly - so it's not a regular occurrence, but stories like this really interest me

Oh my goodness. Number 2 is horrifying. Is this in the UK??? It feels like that should have been a massive news story, yet I can’t recall reading about it

Yes in the UK, honestly the number of horrendous things that have happened in close proximity to where I live in the last 12 months or so left me really unsettled for a good while.

I am genuinely shocked this wasn’t headline news. Or maybe it was and I missed it. What was the name of the case/offender?

@JesusMaryAndJosephAndTheWeeDon Similar story- a friend of mine was staying in the same hotel as Savile. She didn't realise till she saw a little boy, who'd befriended her two little girls, waiting by the stairs and asked what he was waiting for. He said he was waiting to meet Savile and she thought "he shouldn't be alone with him". She had no idea why she thought that because then he was still a "national treasure".

Cats are very good judges of character too.

My lovely tuxedo girl Tiggy who died in 2017 aged 19 knew who was good or bad a very astute feline.

Guinea pigs. Also excellent judges of character. Third eye.

Sounds unlikely but I swear it is the truth. I picked up very odd vibes the first time I saw Hannah Ingram Moore being interviewed on BBC Breakfast. I remember thinking his irrational I was as she was a middle class, middle aged wife and mother. But I just had a really weird reaction to her and felt I didn't trust her.

Many years ago l worked on reception at a big DIY place.
We had a man who worked in the signwriting office (yes, that long ago, when the signs were done by hand) who gave me the creeps.
Apparently innocuous, dweeby little middle aged married man, bald, quietly spoken, wore tank tops kind of bloke. Someone you wouldn't look at twice.
He'd come downstairs (I worked in the bottom floor of the big atrium and he worked upstairs, had his own office) and stand halfway down with his hand on the banister, and talk to me.
I couldn't look him in the eye, and his hands gave me the creeps, his fingers looked like white maggots. He set off my spidey senses for some reason, and not just mine.
One of the girls who worked on the shop floor refused point blank to go to his office with her sign requests, she'd wait til he went for lunch then put the paperwork under his office door.
I couldn't put my finger on anything in particular, but one day l was talking to our security guy, and happened to mention this bloke and how l felt something was off with him. Security guy told me he'd known him for years (I didn't live locally to where l worked), and he'd 'always had that effect on women.'
I don't know if anything ever came to light about him, but there was definitely something not right there.
