Amsterdam to Cork acting really strange!

I felt sick watching the ams- lba one trying to land. It’s just a small plane and going up and down like that🤢 I wonder if it will get diverted now

Amsterdam to Cork acting really strange!

I am wondering what the rationale is rather than go straight around again or into a more "normal" hold?

Lunde · 23/01/2024 22:23

Looks like Amsterdam-Leeds has aborted landing - was down to 1500ft but now climbed to 6000ft

Gone to 9,000 now which I think means a likely divert

ConsistentlyPeeved · 23/01/2024 22:26

Also watching Amsterdam to Cork, I feel dizzy just looking at its pattern!

My guess was off to Manchester but he needs to do a sharp right turn about now to do that

IceWhites · 23/01/2024 22:28

Looks like Ams to cork is giving landing another go! 4000ft is quite low for a holding pattern though

AMS heading for BHX?

I think it's tried twice, then been held in a loop over to the west for a bit to see if things calm. If it doesn't make try 3 it'll be off to Shannon I expert. Been there, done that!

IceWhites · 23/01/2024 22:28

Oh AMS to Cork is going round again. Those poor passengers!

OP posts:
MrJollyLivesNextDoor · 23/01/2024 22:28

AMS to LBA I mean

Lunde · 23/01/2024 22:29

AMS-LBA seems to be heading south

ConsistentlyPeeved · 23/01/2024 22:29

Be interesting to see if the Tenerife flight to Cork manages to land.

Probably EMA.

bobomomo · 23/01/2024 22:30

The flight landing at Bristol could be interesting, it's rather blowy, I'm only 5 miles away and not in an exposed position like the airport is!

cakeorwine · 23/01/2024 22:31

Just watching Ryanair trying Bristol

If I was on it I’d be peeved to not be going to Manchester, it would be an easy 15 minutes or so in then not too late for the last train to Leeds.
my guess is BHX.

Lunde · 23/01/2024 22:32

AMS-LBA - diverting to East Midlands

PatriciaHolm · 23/01/2024 22:32

KLMs going to be peeved if the Aer Lingus makes it first go! Same plane ..

Wrong, going for EMA

RampantIvy · 23/01/2024 22:33

LBA flight diverting to EMA.

PatriciaHolm · 23/01/2024 22:33

Ah no it's not the same plane my mistake

Lunde · 23/01/2024 22:34

Tenerife-Cork pulled up again

IceWhites · 23/01/2024 22:34

Tenerife to Cork hasn’t landed and has taken off again!

TFS-ORK going around, not looking good for the KLM!
