Looks like a lot having difficulty at Nottingham too. Tenerife to Nottingham looks like a drunk snail with all the circling they had to do. And anyone expecting a DHL package might be disappointed

I don't understand why they fly in this weather. It wasn't as if they didn't have advance warning.

they wont necessarily be low on fuel, flights will fill up with fuel wherever is cheapest not every time they are on the ground.
If fully loaded, a 737 can fly for 5+ hours. 6 or 7 in some circumstances.
I agree it looks like Liverpool for them. I have a lot of love for Liverpool but assume they will now be stranded there for the night, far from ideal

in other news a Lanzarote to Dublin flight ended up in Bordeaux

The DHL Nottingham to Cincinnati goes overhead here every night. We always hear it go over as 777s are distinctive! Maybe not tonight, mind.

I’ve been in several flights that aborted their landings and then diverted, more than once to the other side of the country.

It sucks. You get stressed, airline workers can’t cope and usually they try to stick you on a coach for a looooong trip back to the original airport in terrible weather conditions.

Looks like Liverpool for the Manchester-Dublin.
