But no! MAN to DUB has bypassed MAN and is now heading south - I wonder to where?

Manchester- Dublin has finally given up on Belfast and is off back to over the sea but not back to Manchester by the looks of it.

Yeah where's it going?

Sorry, got my geography wrong! It circled Carlisle and is now heading, its seems, to MAN...

Ionacat · 21/01/2024 20:14

The Ryanair Man-Dublin is currently over the Lakes. Looks like it’s going back to Manchester after doing flight radar art! Looks a bit like a hat.

duckpancakes · 21/01/2024 20:15

There were loads of go arounds at Bristol earlier loads gave up and went to Birmingham

Advice400 · 21/01/2024 20:16

What happens if you land in, say, Manchester rather than Glasgow?

Myn · 21/01/2024 20:17

So another thing I like to do at times - I feel I can admit around like-minded people, is to look at the departure and arrival boards at airports. I have just seen on the Dublin one H4473 hisky airlines and null as the origin. Any ideas?

They'll either refuel and have another go or they'll arrange coaches to get everyone up to GLA.

whatausername · 21/01/2024 20:19

Save your efforts, little plane. Go back to Spain, it'll be nicer!

Man alive that Manchester to London plane has had a nightmare of delays and a flight. Hope they’re soon down safely.

Buzz from budapest just aborted at stansted at 900ft, presume going round, veered right on approach so i think was no longer inline with runway

And again. Got the Tenerife-Glasgow coming in behind, which is not the diversion you want after a week on hols.

HobnobsChoice · 21/01/2024 20:19

Another EasyJet diversion from Belfast by the looks of it . Took off from Gran Canaria and now over Wales.

Buzz fr3718 has aborted again at stansted

duckpancakes · 21/01/2024 20:19

Berlin to Dublin looks like its going to try Dublin

Bimblesalong · 21/01/2024 20:19

D’oh Manchester to Dublin! The drama overtook me.

Bratnews · 21/01/2024 20:21

Hello my people! Came on to flag the Gran Canaria - Glasgow but others beat me !

Whatcolou · 21/01/2024 20:21

jet2 Antalya to Birmingham looks like it’s going for attempt no 2 LS1240

Flightradar altitude data at low altitude can be meaningless because Flightradar can't apply corrections needed when atmospheric pressure is off standard at airports, and then there's the issue of the airfield elevation

FWIW that 900' tonight was probaly about 200-250 feet agl.

ConflictedCheetah · 21/01/2024 20:24

Placemarking and following along!

whycaninotsayno · 21/01/2024 20:27

I’ve become weirdly addicted to FR since the last thread on Madeira non-landings 😂

couiza · 21/01/2024 20:27

@Myn Hisky fly to and from Dublin to Romania. Null is not a place AFAIK just a term for when the arrivals updater doesn't know how to spell the unspellable origin maybe!

No offence intended to the updaters.

Squirrelsbite · 21/01/2024 20:28

Antalya to bham looks like it tried to land but went back up, now doing a wierd swing round

Teacloth · 21/01/2024 20:28

Where is the Doha to London flight going to end up? Qtr1e

Clearinguptheclutter · 21/01/2024 20:29

Feel for the poor peeps on ryr6333
looks like they might end up in Liverpool after their grand tour

BrainInAJar · 21/01/2024 20:30

Pls can someone explain how to use it? I see hundreds of wee yellow planes. How do I know which ones to look at? Thanks
