The Prague one landed in Glasgow so just goes to show that it’s luck of the draw in many ways with the gusts!

wouldn’t want to be bussing it from Prestwick tonight!

The Prague flight at Glasgow just managed to land, I’m sure it was a bumpy landing 😬 so feel for anyone on these flights, especially after a go around

The Prague to Glasgow flight landed minutes after the shark el sheik failed to land.

The Sharm-El-Sheikh flight looks like it’s heading there.

Bam, straight down. Why is it all the Jet2 flights have landed today without much fuss, but others have been dancing around doing loop the loops before diverting?

Madrid Gatwick is down. I'm south of Gatwick and the wind has really dropped here in the last 5 minutes, hoping that's a weather pattern moving further north.

Barcelona to London and Amsterdam to London both also appear to be heading to Paris now. Crikey!

Madrid and Oslo made it to Gatwick.

I wonder if they think about runway direction in terms of other airports when they build them.

For example Glasgow and Prestwick - are they different directions and if so was that deliberate in terms of thinking of diversions?

I can see me falling down a rabbit hole with this!

I’m also close to Stansted and am stressed sitting in my house as the storm seems to be right above us at the moment. I would be terrified if I was on a plane!

We're in the East Midlands and the wind is mad this evening, so strong. I'm glad I'm firmly on the ground!

All those saying how scared the passengers must be. You do understand they’re not in any danger? They wouldn’t be flying and attempting to land if it was dangerous.

I’ve been on a touch down fly around and people weren’t terrified. It’s totally normal practice

I’m about 15 mins from man airport and also happen to work there. My windows, fences and doors are shaking so god knows why they are landing here. Not looking forward to going to work at 3am dealing with these diverts.

Looks like sharm- Glasgow tried prestwick also and aborted again.
