Need to go to IKEA in the next week or so as we're getting a couple of Kallax units.

As we all know it's virtually illegal to only come back with what you went in for so what else do I need oh wise vipers?

We have 15 Billy bookcases of various types.
The plastic trays are enormously useful.

MrsWidgerysLodger · 16/01/2024 16:19

No plans for more bookcases (DH would kill me, our spare room is already wall to wall bookcases!) I do intend on getting their freezer bags though as they're a good range of sizes from memory.

Was going to say kallax units but see you are already on it ! I've recently bought doors and drawers for mine and really glad I did as it's tidied them up a lot

Annimousey · 16/01/2024 18:07

Certainly candles and perfumed sticks! You never can have too many of those!

A private picker of goods with a list. S/he delivers it from the cash desk to home, assembles, and awaits the next order. Thank you.

Seeingadistance · 16/01/2024 18:16

I got the Lindbyn big oval mirror last week and put it up this afternoon. Very pleased with it. If you have a family card, it’s £30 down from £60 till 21st January.

And if you’re looking for something smaller - Daim cake!

DuchessOfSausage · 16/01/2024 18:17

Make a list before you go.
Go and look round the whole store making a note of what you like.
Go to the cafe and have a think. Go to get what you actually need.
Pay and go home.

I like the skubb boxes, the freezer bags and the garlic press.
My kitchen has some of the 365 stuff, cutlery and white crockery.
Duvet covers are usually good - cheap and cheerful.
The fleece blankets are good - not sure if they still do them

You need some new juice glasses, a new bath mat, and I think also one of those little steps for reaching the high kitchen shelves

And a few mini pencils

They used to do really good washing up brushes. Obviously Tupperware too.

DreamingInPhosphorescence · 16/01/2024 19:01

A small desk lamp and some wine glasses. Do they still sell rats?

RootVegAndMash · 16/01/2024 19:02

IKEA will let you know when you get there. Have faith.

MindfullyAmazedHorse · 16/01/2024 19:03

You’ll definitely need a bigger bag than you thought you would.

Throwawayme · 16/01/2024 19:07

I love IKEA towels! Super thick and great quality.
