Need to go to IKEA in the next week or so as we're getting a couple of Kallax units.

As we all know it's virtually illegal to only come back with what you went in for so what else do I need oh wise vipers?

Apparently in some UK stores right now there’s a lot of very reduced stuff produced for but never sent to Russia, so it might be worth starting at the end and looking at that first.

MinnieMotor · 16/01/2024 20:35

Why has no one said a Klunka?

IKEA will let you know when you get there. Have faith.

This is correct.

CloudPop · 16/01/2024 20:45

Agree with the above. You will be astounded to find out how much you "need"'

Cappuccinfortwo · 16/01/2024 20:49

I think they must have changed the meatball recipe as last time we got them, they were horrible.

bellocchild · 16/01/2024 21:05

An IKEA trolley bag or six
Ikea 5013144005249 Frakta bag for truck, polypropylene, blue, 73 x 35 x 30 cm.

FishPie2 · 16/01/2024 21:10

I don't get the love for the food bags, I threw them in the bin as they leaked something awful.

CornishTiger · 16/01/2024 21:16

Nothing. You need nothing. except your Kallax. Do not look left or right. Go get them and go. Do not divert your attention. Stick to the plan. And just of all definitely don’t stop in the food hall 🤣

DilemmaDelilah · 16/01/2024 21:40

Definitely food bags in various sizes. A set of the black kitchen utensils. Some paper napkins. Some new mugs, some more pasta dishes. A couple of the cheap little soft toys.A couple of the large kilner type jars. Some Londonderry jam. A small plastic step (for the bathroom). A triangular cheese sliced (because when we went specifically to get one they didn't have any!!!). Some daim bars if you can find any.

littleburn · 16/01/2024 21:46

Ikea no longer stock Daim bars! 🫣🫣🫣 Not seen them at all on our last couple of visits, googled and they have phased them out. Only stocking their own brand chocs now.

Mountainclimber2024 · 16/01/2024 21:48

The clear zip bags for bedding and duvets are great 👍

Hang on, Rats?!

Toy rats. DC used to smuggle at least one into the trolley every time we went. Apparently now discontinued, but still on eBay.

Cookerhood · 16/01/2024 21:51

I didn't know IKEA sold rats. I'd like some, they make lovely pets.

Chestnutsroastgreen · 16/01/2024 21:56

Daim cake
boxes for your kallax
serviettes
food bags
plant

familyissues12345 · 16/01/2024 21:57

Oh yes Dreaming, I've just remembered we had a rat!

I'm surprised at this, I can wash them out and reuse. I find them stronger than any other brand and the zip lock actually stays closed.

LaChatte · 16/01/2024 22:00

Big multipack of white kids flannels.

Garlic crusher, great quality for the price.

And mini daim bars. At least 3 bags of 'em...

Yes we had a few of these , great for Hallowe’en decorations, which when the DC are little were cute not horror clowns or zombies

Las5 time I was in there they only had a few regular Daim bar bags but loads of Orange flavour
