Taylor Swift Tickets

mrsconradfisher · 02/01/2024 22:20

I know it’s like looking for a needle in a haystack but any bright ideas where I can find Taylor Swift tickets for any date at Wembley. Despite me trying on every device I own, I didn’t even get waitlisted so had no chance of getting any. I’ve tried Ticketmaster every day (at least 2/3 times a day) for resale tickets, AXS, twickets (set up an alert if any become available) and Stubhub. There are some on StubHub but I need 2 and they are over £800 each. I’d pay over the ticket price but that’s just ridiculous. I was sort of hoping that some would appear after Christmas if people duplicated them for presents but nothing so far. It’s a very long and complicated reason why I want to go and why these tickets are really important to me.

Ive tried selling groups but all I get is endless people trying to scam you, I’m all out of ideas now so wondered if anyone else had any luck…

Sorry, I don't know either. Still on the wait list and wondering if things will change nearer the dates.

Mindovermatter247 · 02/01/2024 22:24

I got on the waitlist, got the email, 5 minutes after getting the email I went to Ticketmaster and they were all gone apart from £400 tickets. I can’t stand taylor swift but dd11 is too young to go alone and I cannot justify paying that much each for a ticket. So I’ve purchased the tour online, for £15.99 and dd can see more than she would if she was at the concert.

TheFlis · 02/01/2024 22:25

There is no easy or secret way to get them right now but I suspect more will be up for resale closer to the time.

I had a code for the pre-pre release and still ended up paying £300 for tickets in a city I need to get a plane to and spending around £500 for flights and accomm! So may as well have paid £800 for hospitality tickets at Wembley!
I think your best bet is just before the concert, I saw people doing this in the states online and it means literally being outside the concert venue and ready to buy after the support acts are on as prices fall as people who are trying to sell at high price panic and reduce prices. If you don’t manage to buy the “parking lot” parties looked awesome and you’ll hear the music and be with other fans.

also ticketmaster and axs official transfers aren’t open yet, when they are some more may come up.

Fantina · 02/01/2024 22:27

My friend has duplicates and is going to sell but she’s waiting for her DD’s GCSE dates to be announced before she chooses her preferred date. So some will become available.

Another friend managed to get some for Germany fairly recently. Have you tried any of the European dates?

mrsconradfisher · 02/01/2024 22:29

No I haven’t tbh, I’m a Teaching Assistant so it’s going to be a nightmare getting time off. I can just see how that conversion will go with our headteacher 🤣☹️ I will investigate though, thank you.

I’m so annoyed cause DH got an email offering the hospitality tickets and thought he’d wait until I was home from work to ask me by which point they’d all gone! The £800 tickets on stub hub are at the very very top, £75 tickets!

OP posts:
ellenpartridge · 02/01/2024 22:33

Maybe hospitality tickets for the newer Wembley dates? May be sold out though. Stubhub etc won't be legit. I wouldn't buy resell anywhere other than ticketmaster or axs. Good luck.

mrsconradfisher · 02/01/2024 22:36

Yep they were the dates my DH got offered, but left it too late! Stubhub is ok and twickets as I’ve used them loads of times before but none of the other resell ones.

OP posts:
DeepDarkBlue · 02/01/2024 22:39

Don't be tempted to buy any on Facebook or other social media platforms. There is no reason anyone other than a scammer would try and sell tickets on Facebook.

mrsconradfisher · 02/01/2024 22:40

I’d actually be perfectly happy with that but I suspect the police in the U.K. won’t let the fans congregate outside Wembley like they did in the US. I live in Norfolk too so need to get there.
Obviously I really want to see the whole concert but there is one song in particular that is incredibly important to me and I really need/want to see it live.

OP posts:
mrsconradfisher · 02/01/2024 22:41

No I know, I was tempted but thought better off it. A local lady who I actually know was selling some but they were standing tickets, I’m only 4ft 10 so wouldn’t have seen anything!

@mrsconradfisher which song is it that means a lot to you? Massive Taylor fan here and just come across the thread. I'm very lucky I managed to get tickets for Cardiff so hate seeing these threads where people can't get any. Really hope you can get some

ellenpartridge · 02/01/2024 22:50

I know stubhub is normally legit but I heard it isn't allowed for Taylor - I might be wrong but not sure I would risk it! Apparently there is a discord chat that posts when resale tickets go onto ticketmaster

mrsconradfisher · 02/01/2024 22:58

Thank you, that means a lot. My Mum had Vascular Dementia, very fast deterioration over 18 months and passed away Boxing Day last year. I took her out in my car for what was the last time on the way to hospital (she never came out after being admitted) and I had my Taylor playlist on in my car as I always do.. In a moment of complete clarity which she hadn’t had in about a year, she told me she loved the words to the song that was playing and that I should always remember her. It was Long Live. I obviously know it’s not about a parent but we did an awful lot of fighting dragons over those 18 months! Bit random but every time I listen to it I think of my Mum who had no clue who I was for over a year until that moment in my car.
Taylor’s lyrics are so bloody powerful.

Ah thank you, I will give it a miss then. That’s an awful lot of money to lose.

@mrsconradfisher that's made me shed a tear. I'm so sorry to hear about your mum. How awful. But I'm so glad Taylor and her lyrics are a comfort to you. Her lyrics are so powerful you're right, I feel each and every song in my chest! I'm 27 now and been a lover of her since I was 14! Recently converted DH into a fan too 😂 long live is probably one of my all time favourites 'if you have children some day, when they point to the pictures, please tell them my name' that line means so much to me because by the time I see her in June I'll hopefully be 6 months pregnant with our triple rainbow after 3 MC last year. I tear up everytime I listen to long live. The words in her songs are so meaningful

Aww that’s beautiful, I’m so sorry about your MC’s. Life is so bloody cruel.

The words really are so meaningful, especially in Long Live. They’ve also cut it from the tour film so can’t even see it that way either,

I'm sure there will be tickets nearer the time as things come up- it really is only safe to check the official resale sites. I really hope you are able to get tickets. It has made me very angry to see people boasting about getting tickets for multiple nights when others can't even get any. Seems unfair and that should not have been allowed. I was one of the lucky one to get tickets for my daughters and I can honestly say their reaction on Christmas Day is something I will never forget (there was shock and tears and unbridled joy) when they realised the impossible was actually going to happen. Thank goodness for the extra dates at Wembley. I really, really hope you get some.

Notacottish · 03/01/2024 18:57

@mrsconradfisher i am so sorry about your mum. Long live is also my favourite song. The silver lining is that is IT on the tour film (as a bonus song to make it different from the version in the cinema). Also re concert tickets do not get any from anywhere except official resale (Ticketmaster, axs). I have ticket master tickets and the only way I can sell them is by doing it through Ticketmaster’s resale on their app. I just don’t want you to get scammed by trying any other way. Good luck and best wishes.

FlyingCherub · 03/01/2024 19:04

There will be tickets closer to the time, that's what I'm counting on.

DD got Beyonce tickets the morning of a concert for £50 each as the seller was desperate by that stage to get anything for them!

mrsconradfisher · 03/01/2024 19:14

Ahh is it? I assumed it wasn’t as wasn’t on at the cinema. Thank you.
I shall steer clear of any other resale sites, I think my best bet is just to be available on the day of the concerts (which I can do for most dates) and then just hop on a train if I manage to get some.

Resale on ticketmaster and AXS is the only (safe) place to get tickets. There is a group on Discord which posts when tickets are available and there are regular tickets available although mostly expensive. You have to just keep checking and more will come up and one day you'll be lucky at some that are the right budget for you. As previous posters have said there will be more and more for resale as we get closer. If you can be flexible with the date you go then I'm sure you'll get some. Just remember that standing (pitch) is over 14s only. Also if you check, be ready to buy immediately. You won't have the chance to consider it coz someone else will jump in. Also, AXS don't hold it in the basket so you may find it "fails" at payment stage. 😐 so be ready to buy but also until they're in your hands, try not to get too excited 🫣 good luck and I hope you find some!

mrsconradfisher · 03/01/2024 21:45

Thank you, that’s really helpful. Fully expect them to be expensive but hopefully less than £800 per ticket!!

I think official resale isn't much more than original face value - and I think most expensive were £160 ish maybe? My DD got rear standing for £130 inc fees.
