Taylor Swift Tickets

mrsconradfisher · 02/01/2024 22:20

I know it’s like looking for a needle in a haystack but any bright ideas where I can find Taylor Swift tickets for any date at Wembley. Despite me trying on every device I own, I didn’t even get waitlisted so had no chance of getting any. I’ve tried Ticketmaster every day (at least 2/3 times a day) for resale tickets, AXS, twickets (set up an alert if any become available) and Stubhub. There are some on StubHub but I need 2 and they are over £800 each. I’d pay over the ticket price but that’s just ridiculous. I was sort of hoping that some would appear after Christmas if people duplicated them for presents but nothing so far. It’s a very long and complicated reason why I want to go and why these tickets are really important to me.

Ive tried selling groups but all I get is endless people trying to scam you, I’m all out of ideas now so wondered if anyone else had any luck…

Thank you so much. I can’t do standing anyway (I’m 4ft 10, it just doesn’t work!! 🤣🤣) so looking for seated tickets.

Sorry, yes they're expensive coz they're the vip tickets that are mostly coming up for resale (not sure why, maybe people rethinking their purchase? Got other cheaper tickets? Who knows!) The cheaper ones are coming up but they go super quickly as people snap them up as soon as they are offered for sale. 😀

WindowsSmindows · 03/01/2024 21:58

I got seats in Ticketmaster resale. I joined that discord group which could be very helpful but in the end I just got lucky. I must say though I didn't just check 2/3 per day I checked 2/3 hundred times a day. I set up a link to Ticketmaster on my phone so I would click on, then you have to go into map view,, tickets will be clear in blue, and you jump.
You will get them that way.

There were numerous US dates prior to the release of Speak Now Taylor’s Version where she didn’t sing Long Live. There’s currently a (hopefully wrong!) fan theory that because Paramore are supporting it’s possible that she will swap Long Live for Castles Crumbling on the set list. Would hate for you to struggle for tickets only to ultimately be disappointed, so just bear in mind that it’s not a guarantee you will hear it live. I absolutely adore it live (I went to the Speak Now tour) so I’m praying the theory is wrong!

Edited because I forgot the whole point of my post! A friend managed to get tickets through a resale site (AXS I think) but she checked it every hour and I genuinely think it was pure luck. Fingers crossed for you OP but I think resale sites are the best option, as it’s the easiest way for people to sell tickets.

I agree with this. I've been very 'lucky' getting tickets to things over the years but it's definitely a combination of luck and hours and hours of clicking.

My husband uses another technique to get hard to get sporting event tickets which is throwing money at it. I will never know how much he paid for his 1994 World Cup tickets in LA ( not sure what match though).

mrsconradfisher · 03/01/2024 23:28

I’ve been doing it many many times a day over the Christmas holidays but I’m a TA so slightly more tricky to do once back at work. I will definitely up my checking of Ticketmaster though.

Lol, tbh that’s usually my trick to throw money at it but even I can see £800 a ticket is crazy. DH knows how much this means to me (and even if I don’t get to see Long Live I still desperately want to go) so has said I can have his Christmas bonus which is £1000 but I need to get 2 tickets with that. Or just 1 and I can be brave and go on my own!

I'm pretty sure there's a thread on MN about swapping/selling TS tickets, might be worth a look. Have you looked on eBay, Facebook? You will probably pay over the odds though. I've tickets for Liverpool, they're restricted view but all I could afford, DD is just happy we're going.

kitsuneghost · 03/01/2024 23:54

Twickets? They alert you if something comes up

You cannot transfer tickets yet only sell back through axs / ticketmaster. There are so many scams that anything other than official resale is a massive risk.

"Obviously I really want to see the whole concert but there is one song in particular that is incredibly important to me and I really need/want to see it live."

But what if that song isn't in her set list for the particular evening you go?

Or is it a song she always plays 100% of the time at every concert?

kitsuneghost · 04/01/2024 10:30

Please do not use stubhub. This is why tickets are £800
If you use resale people will continue yo buy and resell as a business and fans will continue to be faced with marked up ticket prices.
It is the publics custom that keeps them going
Twickets is fine, the are genuinely sold by fans that can no longer go.

It’s “Long Live” which I’m sure is on the set list. I really want to go anyway but it’s just that song has special meaning for me.

I couldn’t stand how upset my DD was at having no tickets when a lot of her friends got them for Christmas.. so I’ve paid an eye watering amount to a ticket concierge service. I’ve never seen her more happy - it better be worth it 🫣

How did you find them?

I managed to get them on AXS. Keep checking often and hopefully you'll get lucky!
You won't get any on ticketmaster - those are all gone now (except maybe a few super expensive ones). It will be only resale from now on.

growandexpand · 04/01/2024 16:39

Resale is available on AXS and TM. I agree with the others, don't waste your money on any other site and just keep on checking. They will go as soon as they are put up so you have to be willing to just take the plunge.

She has a playlist she always plays + 1 surprise song. The song OP likes (Long Live - also my favourite!) is on the playlist.

I haven't seen any resale tickets on ticketmaster at all. I have seen a few on AXS...

beguilingeyes · 04/01/2024 16:47

Having see the Eras film I'm beginning to think £800 might be a bargain! What a show. I didn't get tickets either and am desperate to go.

There's a bit of a glitch on TM where you tend to only see them by clicking on the seat map. The cheap ones also go as fast as they are put up!

Imamastermind · 04/01/2024 20:55

@growandexpand
What a weird bug. I didn't know. Thanks for the tip 😁
(I have tickets now so won't be buying more but helpful to know)

megletthesecond · 04/01/2024 21:10

Dp we need an Eras code to buy resale tickets on AXS or ticketmaster? I was allocated AXS but never received codes in either release.

I don't believe so.

anothernamechangeagainsndagain · 04/01/2024 22:47

I'm just pretty sure close to the date tickets will become available, always happens for big gigs as we buy them so far ahead. My local Facebook group is usually the place to get tickets here.
