Taylor Swift Tickets

mrsconradfisher · 02/01/2024 22:20

I know it’s like looking for a needle in a haystack but any bright ideas where I can find Taylor Swift tickets for any date at Wembley. Despite me trying on every device I own, I didn’t even get waitlisted so had no chance of getting any. I’ve tried Ticketmaster every day (at least 2/3 times a day) for resale tickets, AXS, twickets (set up an alert if any become available) and Stubhub. There are some on StubHub but I need 2 and they are over £800 each. I’d pay over the ticket price but that’s just ridiculous. I was sort of hoping that some would appear after Christmas if people duplicated them for presents but nothing so far. It’s a very long and complicated reason why I want to go and why these tickets are really important to me.

Ive tried selling groups but all I get is endless people trying to scam you, I’m all out of ideas now so wondered if anyone else had any luck…

I’ve been trying relentlessly but no luck ☹️

You are more likely to get some on axs. I've seen a few recently, mostly other UK cities (not Wembley) but you need to keep checking as they go as soon as they are released.

WibblyWobblyWeeble · 27/04/2024 18:48

Try Twickets, they generally have loads, especially nearer the date, us they're all at face value.

Kate17080 · 12/05/2024 19:37

Hey, I’m a huge Taylor Swift fan and managed to get 2 lots of tickets last year (Wembley and anfield). I now will struggle to get to the Anfield concert (which feels less bad as I have Wembley) so I am selling two standing tickets on Stubhub for £500 - I know you said nothing was cheaper than £800 so I thought if anyone wants to buy mine they’re there for the Friday night in Liverpool if that is of interest to anyone

How are you selling them when they're not even available yet?

Kate17080 · 12/05/2024 19:47

I bought them last summer when they were first sold with access codes etc. I live in London so can’t go and have put them on stubhub as a result in the hope someone else can use them.

Kate17080 · 12/05/2024 19:48

It’s for the 14th June concert

Fluffycloudsfloatinginthesky · 12/05/2024 19:50

@Kate17080 yes but how can you sell them when they are not in the app to transfer yet?

They're not available to transfer yet. You can only resell back to ticketmaster.co.uk or axs.
So many scammed out there knowing people are desperate for tickets.

Plus, it's been made clear only tickets bought from the official sites will be allowed entry.

Kate17080 · 12/05/2024 19:58

You’re right but you can’t resell to AXS if they’re VIP tickets after 7th April as they send you posters in the post. Stubhub works as when the tickets are available to transfer they are sent over and the sellers don’t get the money till after the event to ensure legitimate.

Kate17080 · 12/05/2024 19:59

I only wanted to let anyone interested know that I have two tickets for sale if anyone would be interested either now or nearer the time as I know if I didn’t have Wembley I would be desperate

Kate17080 · 12/05/2024 20:02

Also they are available to transfer - the ticket and barcode are already there in my app ready to scan so you’re wrong about that

QueenofFox · 12/05/2024 20:04

I got some for Paris about 10 days ago. I had a fancode but couldn't buy at the time as by the time I clicked through it was £600 hospitality left. I registered for UK and Paris. Ticketmaster sent me and email saying that they were selling unsold/unwanted tickets for those with a code and I ended up getting 3 for £280 ish (was just over a hundred euro per ticket). We went this weekend and we were the first row of seats just next to the band and the backing singers, it was amazing and amazing seats so I'd say keep an eye on your email if you have a code as I'm sure the same thing will happen with London

megletthesecond · 12/05/2024 20:25

Stop scamming kate.
Everyone knows people in real life who wants TS tickets. No one is coming on here trying to shift them.

Kate17080 · 12/05/2024 20:30

I am not scamming - I really just want to get rid of my tickets as I do not need to go twice but I am sorry if that is the impression I have given and I will stop commenting on this thread. Really sorry for any confusion or offence caused and I hope those who want to find tickets manage to.

If you genuinely have tickets to sell why would you do it on a big forum like Mumsnet. Anyone who genuinely wanted to sell tickets would only have to ask a few friends or family before being able to find someone who wanted them.

Unfortunately spammers are drawn to sites like Mumsnet and, unfortunately too many people are gullible.

Kate17080 · 12/05/2024 20:36

I’m not selling them on mumsnet - I just saw this thread of people who were desperately trying to find tickets when I have two!!! I know scammers are everywhere but it’s such a shame that people who actually want to sell them can’t because so many people have been scammed.

FlickDrink · 12/05/2024 20:37

@Kate17080 Also, let's imagine you are genuine. How would it actually work? I presume you would expect someone to transfer the money to you before you send them the ticket. How would they know you would send the tickets? They would be daft to trust someone like that.

Kate17080 · 12/05/2024 20:41

I would send a screenshot of my email with my name, surname and adress and the confirmation of purchase my tickets. I would then send a screenshot of my tickets in the app and black out the QR code and write my name on the screenshot. I would be happy to call the buyer or FaceTime at the time of transfer. I’m not sure how else to do it - any other way to prove my legitimacy I would be happy to do. I just can’t resell on AXS as VIP resale stopped on 7th April and I don’t want to lose the £600 I paid for the two tickets in July last year.

None of that helps though if you simply decided not to send the tickets. That how people get scammed. Surely a genuine seller would just find a friend or colleague to sell the tickets too.

siriusblackcat · 12/05/2024 21:27

Interesting that these are your only posts on mumsnet too...

CaptainCarrotsBigSword · 12/05/2024 21:33

You can't screenshot your tickets in the app. It blacks it out automatically.
