Where can I find a cowboy?

He'd have to be a fairly mature one since I am fairly mature myself (age wise that is). And I'm slightly scared of horses but I guess there will be occasions when the horse isn't present.

So where do I look?

The Vegas hotel we stayed in hosted a rodeo, and we were in a lift with a couple of cowboy contestants.
My DH asked how it was all going and had a chat about the competition.
As we got out of the lift they both tipped their hats to me, and said 'Ma'am'.
I was dead chuffed.

I looooove this guy. The ones where he yanks his belt off…. I don’t think he minds being objectified 😂

I haven't stayed at a Dude Ranch, but have been on horse treks through the countryside with real cowboys who are outfitters. They head into the middle of nowhere and leave the equipment/food etc for the men as they bring herds through. Generally, it's the older guys who run the outfitters after retiring from living-in-the-saddle-for-months type cowherding.

Anyway - even they say NEVER get involved with a cowboy. He'll break your heart and leave you needing a trip to the GUM clinic.

I'm very sad that our Cowboy thread seems to be waltzing off into the sunset. I was really enjoying this. It was brightening my dull days!
