Worst clothes fashion trends of the last 30 years?

What do you think the worst fashion trends have been over the last 30 years?

I was watching a BBC drama set in the early 2000s, and it reminded me that I once wore a tight pencil skirt with tight knee high boots. I think pencil skirts were the worst, largely because they were so uncomfortable.

I think young women nowadays are so body confident, I admire it really. I would never have gone out in nude leggings and a crop top, even in my younger days.

Low rise jeans. Even on slim people I thought they looked awful. And especially when accessorised with a thong and a lower back tatoo.

Nude leggings are a mystery to me. I saw a young woman in a pair yesterday & I was thinking how much better & smarter we looked in jeans (even low-rise) back in the day…

Rah rah skirts, glittery leg warmers, ‘Frankie Says …’ t-shirts, toweling socks & moccasins in the 1980s - all absolutely heinous - I embraced rave in ‘88 and never looked back

How does one walk in then?

Ripped jeans. I wanted to replace my old jeans that were ripped. It was hard trying to find jeans that weren't ripped!
