What are we all doing this evening?

Just a random thread to be nosey and see what you are all up too on this very strange Saturday between Christmas and the beginning of 2024. Me and DP have spent the afternoon taking down decs, cleaning, moving our twins into their own bedroom. They are currently sleeping over at gps tonight. So DP is watching the footy, i am scrolling, drinking wine and waiting on our chinese. Anyone doing anything exciting?

Visiting family so mostly sitting around, watching telly and eating snacks. Tomorrow is travelling, washing mountain, getting shopping delivery and the tree will have to come down on NY Day.

@PartnersInCrime doesnt it all feel bare once the decs come down. I am sitting here looking around my lounge thinking i have forgot to put something back!

Nowt exciting. Recovering from.5h drive visiting a friend. Live alone. Enjoying chilling. Just had cheese salad-healthy, then 2 mince pies and a cup of 🍵

At a very nice hotel having a drink in their very expensive (over priced) bar and watching Utd getting battered….again.
Going out for a meal after the match then back to the hotel for an early night before heading back home tomorrow

Got back from the pantomime via the Chinese takeaway about 5.30. We have eaten that and are sitting watching television for a bit, I will be having a bath shortly and then going to bed!

After DH' s birthday Christmas eve, Christmas, boxing day another close birthday, then 2 days working shifts, well sat drinking wine! After shopping for my Mum, taking dog out for walk in wind and rain and washing and changing all Bedsheets, that's it, done for today! X

We are watching United on the tv and just chilling out. Dh and the kids had a curry takeout but I didn't fancy it so just had a sandwich.

I went into town earlier with dd and dh took the two boys to play football with some of their mates.

I'm supposed to have cleaned the house today as we are having a party tomorrow night but I just couldn't be arsed. I'm knackered so having an early night and will get up early and blitz it tomorrow.

I took the children to the arcade with a big bag of 2ps I’ve been saving! Then we drove home via McDonalds and I’m now in the bath! Love it when the kids are off school 😁

Watching United getting beaten with some fried halloumi, my favourite (the cheese, not the football). Planned a lazy day today but a few things got in the way including an unexpected hospital visit for a relative, so we’re making the most of a lazy time this evening. DH will be cooking steak and blue cheese sauce very shortly and we’ll find something to watch on TV. Got a 🍷on the go too.

I took mine down on Thursday. Wanted to get my living room back to normal to dust. For me once boxing day is done,Christmas is over.

@tokesqueen we are waiting to see Luke Littler! Hes brill!
Notts Forest fan here we are having a great game so enjoying this match. Missing my babies though. They are only 6 months and have only recently started having sleep overs with my mum who they see a lot of so they are very comfortable there and they are very content settled babies. Already cant wait to pick them up in the morning

Watching Forest. Chilling on the settee listening to the wind and rain. Worrying a bit about the fence must get it looked at after new year.
