Not a creature is stirring, not even a mouse here!

Taking a moment to enjoy the peace and quiet, it won't be long until mayhem ensues 😄

Happy Christmas all 🎄

My 7yr old has been up since 430

Sleepsleepsleep123 · 25/12/2023 06:42

My 4yo just woke up - par for the course so can't complain...

LucyInTheParkWithDragons · 25/12/2023 06:43

Nothing here either! DD1 is usually a 6am girl so this is odd.

LivingNextDoorToNorma · 25/12/2023 06:44

Nope. Can hear not quite 2 year old starting to stir (but obviously they have no idea what day it is). Eldest is 6, and is sound asleep. Probably in part due to waking up at 430am yesterday!

GetDownkeith · 25/12/2023 06:44

Ours are teens/young adults so was all quiet. Ds1 is an early riser but chilling in bed but dh forgot to turn off his alarm so the dog decided it must be time to get up so that's us moving now.

I'm usually too excited so wake everyone up I can't take the blame this year. 😁

Feelingcrappy2 · 25/12/2023 06:47

Sadly been up all night with DS1 throwing up (great stuff). Finally he is asleep so who knows how it will all go once DS2 wakes… the joys!!!

Santasbestelf · 25/12/2023 06:48

The baby is poorly so got up at 6 and had some calpol and now fast asleep again, toddler is still surprisingly asleep. She’s usually up at this time fur nursery. Quite excited for this year as it’s the first year the toddler ‘gets’ Christmas

TemporaryName123 · 25/12/2023 06:50

My 2 (3 and 7) still sleeping by some miracle! I’ve been awake since 5.50am, just couldn’t get back asleep! Would have loved to get up for a quiet coffee or whatever and turn on the Xmas lights, but I know I’d wake everyone!

1994r · 25/12/2023 06:52

Newborn keeps making me think he's about to wake up so I been up since 5am ready to make a feed, and dd is fast asleep!

Namechangedagain3 · 25/12/2023 06:53

Yes. They’re 20 😂

Hummusanddipdip · 25/12/2023 06:54

All are asleep here too, ds (4) may wake around half 7/8ish as he didn't go to sleep until almost 9. Dh is snoring away but I'm awake and have been since 4, I've got really bad acid reflux, nothing is touching it anymore.

whyamiawakestill · 25/12/2023 06:55

My 19 year old is up I can hear him in his room! I'll get up in 20 and make a coffee.

PurpleCar02 · 25/12/2023 06:56

No, and it’s really strange as my 4yo is a 6am waker! We set our alarm early so we could be ready to go downstairs straight away and nobody is up except us now 😂

GoldenFishes · 25/12/2023 06:57

Mine are teenagers. Both they and DH have told me under no circumstances to wake them before 7:30 so I have been lay here for an hour or so clock watching like when I was a little girl.
Edited for typo.

SlashBeef · 25/12/2023 06:57

Frigging 03.45 😫 sent them back to bed but struggled to get back off myself.

StragglyTinsel · 25/12/2023 06:57

I’m the only one stirring here.

I told STBXH to be here for 7 so he should be here soon. He was ridiculously grumpy about it and tried to insist that I make our 3 year old wait til whatever time (probably 9) he decided he could be bothered with. I got a ‘well, you have to make me breakfast then’ 🙄.

I’ve done everything. He has neither bought nor wrapped a thing. He could have done bedtime and getting ready for Santa with us last night, be he decided to go to the pub with his cousin instead. Which speaks volumes about his priorities. The least he can do is get up a bit early so his son isn’t sitting around waiting for him.

Snowflakecookie1989 · 25/12/2023 06:59

My 11 year old woke up at 5.55. I said no earlier than 6 so not bad 😁

Magnoliasunrise · 25/12/2023 06:59

All quiet here with teens/nearly teen. Managed to make a quiet coffee. Will be waking them up in an hour or so. I'm too excited!! Happy Christmas all and have a lovely day.

StragglyTinsel · 25/12/2023 07:00

I’m expecting DS to appear in about 1 minute. I think he’s awake but he’s waiting for the sun to come up on his clock.

Why on earth are you inviting him?!

Mix Bicarb with water, tastes disgusting but works a treat
