As requested by @CousinBella
Stop with the drama, stop treating your partner like crap, it’s not his fault.
You’ve had months to sort it out but done nothing. Now it’s Christmas and you’re like a headless chicken.
We’ve listened and advised but the rest is down to you and there’s not a chance we are doing it for you.

DH- Yes, I may well be anti Christmas but is it any wonder when I’m the one who buys the gifts, wraps them, buys the food, preps and cooks it , cleans the house after working right up until Christmas, when all you do is enjoys the benefits of it all without having to lift a cup ?

SIL - the others may be willing to forgive and forget after the misery you put us all through (none of us understand what your beef was with us for the last 5 years) and now you’ve decided you will gift us with your presence at family get together again. Nothing to do with mil being old and in poor health and hoping to get your hands on her money once she passes, I’m sure 🤨. you don’t fool me at all.
