It’s M&S cinnamon buns right?

My favourite savoury option is the Lidl vegetable pizza.

What’s your nomination?

Cheese twists of apple danish

Tighginn · 16/12/2023 17:23

Kalamata sourdough, coop.

TilerSwift · 16/12/2023 17:25

Tesco salt & pepper baguette, far superior to Tiger

The Lidl pesto and goats cheese focaccia. So, so good.

Came to write the same. Followed by their chocolate brownie.

PuttingDownRoots · 16/12/2023 17:30

Apple crown. Probably from co op as I catwalk there to collect my breakfast so its fresh.

StellaAndCrow · 16/12/2023 17:32

Asda double chocolate cake - comes in muffins, loaf style and tray bake too I think. The best chocolate cake about.

Morrisons did a lovely stollen in their store bakery section last year, but I haven't seen it yet this year.

Waitrose three cheese bloomer …… food of the Gods

Pinkpinkpink15 · 16/12/2023 17:34

You are all killing me, literally.

havent tried 80% of the above as I'm diabetic, but might have to choose one to try as a special treat.

but which one???? Arghhhhh

DoraSpenlow · 16/12/2023 17:36

Lidl apple turnovers. Have had to stop going in because you have to walk past them to do your shopping and I can't go past without buying at least one.

What the heck’s an empire biscuit??

For me it’s always a soft pretzel. Tescos are the worst - don’t bother. Lidl and M&S joint top.

ace249 · 16/12/2023 17:43

the M&S apricot danish is heaven

Like a jammy dodger but iced

Dryadia · 16/12/2023 17:45

Slooow organic par baked rolls. Dutch made available in Tesco, just wish they had the whole range.

hilariousnamehere · 16/12/2023 17:46

Asda choc chip muffins (also loaf and ring cake versions, Lidl brownies, m&s ciabatta rolls, Waitrose grand rustique bread.

Now I want all of them!

BeaLola · 16/12/2023 17:48

Waitrose almond croissant
M&S raspberry yumnut
Morrisons chocolate btownie

Perfectlystill · 16/12/2023 17:52

ace249 · 16/12/2023 17:43

the M&S apricot danish is heaven

I second this. Was obsessed by them for many years when I worked next to an M&S

ArcaneWireless · 16/12/2023 17:54

Maple pecan plait.

It doesn’t matter where from. Last ones were from Lidl and Morrisons.

PuppyMonkey · 16/12/2023 17:55

Morrisons jam doughnuts.

tallsmallmum · 16/12/2023 17:55

Goldenboysmum · 16/12/2023 16:54

Salt and pepper tiger bread from Morrisons

eating that now 👊🏽

Lidl have the best in house bakery, it's fab, their donuts beat everyone's. I wish they could sort the wine out, it's not a patch on Aldi.

Also vote for Tesco almond croissant, warm from the oven and the custard danish.
It's got very expensive though. I made cinnamon danish last week and it was unbelievable. In a different league to anything you buy in a supermarket. (you tube preppy kitchen recipe) and costs a lot less per roll.

Monkeybutt1 · 16/12/2023 17:59

Lidl cheese twist,I think they've stopped then now.
Then their cinnamon buns which they've also stopped 😪

NashvilleQueen · 16/12/2023 18:01

I had the M&S victoria sponge muffin before and for £1.30 it's fantastic. I love them.

Ellemeg82 · 16/12/2023 18:01

Lidl choc hazelnut donut and the best supermarket jam ones are the ones from M&S

Candycurrantbun · 16/12/2023 18:04

Lidl pan au raisin or Tesco Pecan plait or Co-op cheese twist.

bruffin · 16/12/2023 18:10

ichundich · 16/12/2023 16:24

Lidl croissants. Huge and not oily or too salty.

Lidl's croissants are greasy and nasty and leave a coating in your mouth,as do most of their pastries.

I love an almond croissant or apricot pastry.
