I bought one of those mops off Facebook that has a wet side and a dry side and I love it. Sometimes I just think about how much better life is now I don't have soaking wet floors for an hour after mopping (I dunno why but this house it takes forever for the floors to dry in winter even when the heating is on)

A mini dishwasher which doesn't need to be plumbed in (tiny kitchen here!)

AuntieJoyce · 10/12/2023 00:00

Dyson v11 animal. No more lugging a heavy hoover round plugging and unplugging

bananafishbones1 · 10/12/2023 00:02

My electric heat pad 🔥

Notthatcatagain · 10/12/2023 00:02

Ninja 9in1, fantastic bit of kit used almost every day.

Yumasia rice cooker. It’s brilliant and genuinely makes my life easier.

Tiny little thing but
Vinyl Nail Wraps. Nail varnish never lasts on my nails, not even a day. I hate gels and other similar. They make my nails feel clunky and uncomfortable and I can't resist chewing them off when they start to chip.
Vinyls are around £1 a set. Look just like well applied varnish and last for at least a week. I love them. I still don't wear them all the time but they take about 10 minutes to do (after practicing a few times) and stay looking fabulous - and when I eventually peel them off, there is no nail damage

Electric bike! Love it and go everywhere by bike rather than by car or bus.

A really simple thing - a pump of hand lotion by the sink.
I bought some Xmas scented handwash and they did a lotion as well, so got that too.
Why have I never thought to have this before?
I usually wash my hands and have tubes of hand cream around the house I use when I find one.
A pump right by the sink is so much better, it's just there and you don't have to take a lid off.

Herb scissors
Telescopic stool
Proper stainless steel dough scraper

SparklingSparkle · 10/12/2023 00:50

Mini colander - really useful for washing single portions of things.

Bought a snooze shade for the buggy going on holiday. Had previously been on holiday and taken a normal parasol when we just had one child (now have two) but omg the snooze shade was a game changer. My baby used it every day for every nap and then when we went out for dinner at night we just put her to ‘bed’ in the pram at her normal bed time, covered her over with the snooze shade so it was totally dark inside, had the white noise on and she slept in there all night. Just got lifted back into bed when we were back! Anyone going on holiday soon needs one! I just got ours on vinted too

xogossipgirlxo · 10/12/2023 01:03

Apple watch

Palindrone · 10/12/2023 01:12

Erborian BB cream. It suits my skin far better than foundation which feels heavy and accentuates my pores.

pleasestoprainingplease · 10/12/2023 01:23

My electric blanket. Never knew I needed one but it's a total game changer! I've just got in from a night out and waited in the freezing cold for a taxi home. My DP put it on ready for me and it's heavenly.

Goneback2school · 10/12/2023 01:35

peppermintcrisp · 10/12/2023 01:44

Roselilly36 · 10/12/2023 06:27

Airfryer, used at least once a day, absolutely love it. Also my drying pod £49, with free del. Bargain and so nice not to have clothes draped over the radiators now.

Jewelanemone · 10/12/2023 06:31

Eyelash serum. Short straight eyelashes are a thing of the past! I love my new fluttery lashes 🙂

Yes!! This!! We did this with our son when he was 9 months old and it was a GAME CHANGER!! Slept everywhere! Every night! We were able to go out and were never bound to the hotel room like I presumed we would be!!

colouroftherainbow · 10/12/2023 07:11

Dreamland heated mattress protector - getting into a warm bed is just amazing. And can keep the heating much lower at night
AirPods - I have been wanting to get back into reading since having kids but no time, now I listen to audiobooks all the time while walking/cleaning/cooking and back to enjoying fiction even if I don’t manage to read

spottydinosaur · 10/12/2023 07:13

Robot hoover! Waking up to a hoovered house is amazing

Chrispackhamspoodle · 10/12/2023 07:15

Ninja air fryer.
Two large coir scraper shoe mats -1 inside and 1 outside from dunelm which has stopped the mud being trooped into my hallway
Carpet cleaner for my rugs.

Highlighta · 10/12/2023 07:21

Le Creuset hydration bottle. It has to be the best water bottle I have had.

Although it's only 500ml it fits in my car door holder perfectly (many other bottle don't and it's very annoying).
