Interested to know about everything be it luxury or mundane
I was late to the game but now use my air fryer daily. I also love my earbuds.

Electric clothes drying rack and a year's supply of high strength vitamin D.

As recommended in a similar thread on here: a Lantana tin-opener.

A Sodastream Duo which has glass bottles. I've been so much better at staying hydrated since I got it half price in the black Friday deal.

Day to day I use for fizzy water and add ginger root or cucumber for flavour but I'm hoping by having a few of the drink concentrates, we will be able to offer guests a soft drink without always having to plan ahead and buy a selection of soft drinks.

A balm cleanser, nothing fancy just Superdrug own brand, makes my makeup come off in seconds, much less waste and my skin feels so much cleaner after I do my second cleanse!

DRS1970 · 10/12/2023 09:56

A dishwasher.

@RuthW if you are referring to Drying Pod, Addis. So pleased with it.

These are a lifesaver for me too (and friends) at certain time of our lives!

@Iwant2beJessicaFletcher
Which headphones did you get? I can’t wear ear buds either - they’re really uncomfortable and also fall out! Have been looking for an alternative for a while but there’s too much choice!

Saracen · 10/12/2023 10:07

Dehumidifier. We don't have to heat the house nearly so much in order to prevent mould. I also use it to dry clothes in winter. An unexpected bonus is that it dramatically speeds up the drying of sodden items which would otherwise take forever, such as DH's soaking work boots.

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 10/12/2023 10:07

We used to have three single beds and a kingsize. This year we changed to one single, two doubles and a kingsize. I changed all the sheets to a different colour for each size (cream for the king, pale grey for the doubles and white with grey spots for the single). No need to unfold a sheet and refold when it's the wrong size.

Which one do you use?

wineandmaltesershappyme · 10/12/2023 10:08

@creamcheeseandlox i think you might have problems with the semi cured as they are gel polish, you'd also need the lamp to cure them once fitted.
I use the classic wraps which are made from normal nail polish.
Here are a couple of my recent sets.

Well this thread has cost me £200!

Saracen · 10/12/2023 10:09

Oodie. So warm! I can have the heating on much lower now. (Actually that was 2022. I've had it for 18 months now and use it constantly.)

I do have a lamp as used to do my own nails but get bad nail bed lifting since about 3 years ago. Maybe I'll try the normal polish ones. How long do they last?

creamcheeseandlox · 10/12/2023 10:13

We bought a eufy robovac and it is a great money well spent gadget.

Mittens that velcro onto the pram and you just leave attached to it. No more cold hands when you forget your gloves. Why did I never get these with my first baby!?

wineandmaltesershappyme · 10/12/2023 10:15

@creamcheeseandlox if you put a top coat on and look after them (wear gloves to do dishes for example) you can get 2 weeks. I change mine every weekend as a like a new design 😄
Lily and fox are only £1.99 a set so great value, just ship (free) from Aus so takes a while to get here so i do a big order
