I need some inspiration to dig out the Christmas tree and get the bugger put up. Can I see yours?

Always my favourite thread, I love it.

I love the return to jewelled colours this year too, I’ve noticed a few houses in our village have used these this year. My tree isn’t up yet.

@letmeeatinpeace lovely tree, though your decoration in between the moon and the bell needs turning, it looks sad and I can’t un see it 😁

Love this thread every year 🎄🎄

This is mine. Have name changed so avoid being outed as I've told everyone about my tree skirt thing Xmas Smile
It's wonky and I don't know why but I've given up trying to fix it.

This is mine. Gone all traditional now with a woodland theme .

So beautiful. May I ask where you got your garland from? I need to replace mine and this is lovely!

Just this minute finished putting it up! It’s the only time I love the freezing cold pointless conservatory!! Glass baubles and silver for us but coloured lights and kitsch for the kids tree in the living room!

Lovely 😍 where did you get those lights on the right from? I saw some in a window and really want some😁

Trees are my favourite thing about this time of year

Lovely trees, lovely cat and lovely bookshelf

43ontherocksporfavor · 09/12/2023 20:11

@3treehouse there is a person under your tree. Assuming you’re aware? 😂

flexigirl · 09/12/2023 22:55

@User000001234 aww thank you ☺️ yes the garland is from Costco. We've had this one a few years but I was there recently and they still sell them. I did swap the lights on them for the premier decorations red and vintage gold lights as they made it all look so much warmer and the ones that came with the garland and the stag head were a bit too bright for us . Merry Christmas 🎅🏼

Am loving all these trees

So many lovely trees. I saw some nice coloured lights at the garden centre the other day and having seen all the lovely coloured lights trees on here I think I’ll go coloured lights and jewel tones next year.

Soccermumamir · 10/12/2023 13:05

Opted for a slimline tree this year 🙂🎄

I love this thread every year. So many beautiful trees. I love to see everyone's different styles.
My decorations are from all over, things the kids have made, supermarkets, local yarn bombers and charity shops.

@Objectionhearsayspeculation I absolutely love your tree 🎄❤️ just brilliant

Lavenderandbrown · 11/12/2023 15:29

I switched to a smaller tree in 2016 but seeing all these lovely chubby trees I may switch back for 24. The pot my tree sits in was left behind by previous neighbors as trash. I have always wanted to do a tree in an urn and this was my attempt

The lavender ornaments were something I had been online looking for and found 12 in a box at charity store. The garland is a grapevine wreath unassembled and stretched out. It’s not hard to do but a bit messy when you first take it apart. I love the rustic natural feel of it
