I mean any hot chocolate scratch’s a sweet itch but I was expecting something really special and it’s possibly just above average…

We got a mixed box of sachets and so far I’ve tried the 70% chocolate and the Milky…

Is there tips to make it better? Any types/flavours that are nicer than others, am I not making it right?

I feel like it’s not thick or sweet enough and the froth is not blowing me away!

The best way to get a nice hot chocolate is to get a pot on the stove, heat up some double cream, add some milk, get a block or two of chocolate and break it up into small bits, mix all together until it melts.

This!
It's the only way I make mine and it's so tasty

Those who say cleaning it is a faff, do you not just run it with a drop of washing up liquid in?
I think it’s ridiculously easy to clean.

Exactly. That's all I do too (you only need a tiny drop of washing up liquid and fill it to the max line with water then turn on.) It's so easy to clean!

I really like the hot chocolate out of the velvetiser but I don't like Hotel Chocolat's hot chocolate very much.

I always use this one:

Hot Chocolate Flakes

Hot Chocolate Flakes shaved from a block of real chocolate. Our Chocolate Flakes contain both cocoa solid and cocoa butter. Blending the flakes with

The only way to get it properly clean is to wash it under the tap and that is a PITA.

I do a quick rinse then run it with fairy & water.

Takes a whole minute

MIL got one for Christmas a few years ago and we spent the weekend having to accept a hot chocolate every 20 mins (it seemed like). But I didn't rate them at all. Haven't actually seen it being used since then either, think it's been relegated to the back of a cupboard as there's a new air fryer in its spot on the counter!

Love mine. I add orange syrup or baileys into mine. Then top with chocolate whipped cream

I bought one and gave it away and they then also passed it in!

I have a Lavazza one which is far superior
