M&S 12 days of Christmas

I love this each year, today I got a free 75ml hand cream. Which isn’t likely to be as delicious as the florentines I got on day one last year, but you can’t complain about a freebie!

I’m hoping for a knitwear discount one day, I’ve had a cashmere cardi in my basket for weeks.

Who can top free hand cream this morning?! 😁

this is the biggest problem in my opinion cos I’m not going to buy things that I’ve seen that are nice in case I get an offer as that is a real pita but also I the meantime I’ve seen similar things at Waitrose and already bought it from there so they’ve ended up losing my custom as I feel ripped off by the prospect of getting a reduction after I’ve bought something. This is what they don’t seem to understand. It’s actually achieving the opposite of the presumed intended effect

We bought furniture from M and S that broke shortly afterwards, they accepted it had been used normally, and should have lasted several years. They refused to replace it because ‘we don’t sell that now’. No equivalent product was offered, so I ended up arguing the toss with their chairman’s office. Got a refund and went to John Lewis.

I got 10% off plants. I’ve not had a freebie yet and not really used the discounts as they are for things I don’t want/need or things I’ve already bought.

It's all a big con, to get us in spending more money.

Me too although I got a free fragrance on day 1 but the other 7 days have just been discounts I won’t use. Today was 10% off flowers…

Free hand cream today but not sure when I can pick it up if at all! Got my free Belgian chocs though on Wednesday as there's a food only store near me. Other than that, just money off stuff!

I picked up my free perfume, and bought a t-shirt I didn't really need yesterday in M&S! There was lots of lovely knitwear and I'm a fan of the Autograph range but thankfully bypassed it to stop me spending money I don't need to.

JL has all been discounts, apart from the bear, since the free mascara sample. I've spent a fortune in JL this year as we needed new kitchen appliances so a bear tree ornament not really cutting it for me.

Free handcream today which I'll pick up at some point. Belgian chocolates got eaten. I used 15% off Xmas cake but haven't used any other discounts.

I got the hand cream on Day 1 but I can't get it as I only go in M&S Food Halls, usually the one less than 5 minutes from my front door. They don't stock it and told me to go to a big branch that sells clothes etc. that would mean a trip to Oxford Street and there's no way that is happening 🤷‍♀️

10% off flowers here too ... im so underwhelmed by every discount. I miss the normal discounts now - like the free load of bread, free pastry etc. Discounts when you only have a food hall close by is pretty tragic

I went into M&S to get my free lip balm, only to be met with a deep sigh from the till assistant, who pushed a tray of hand creams in my direction and said, probably for the 103488374364th time that day, 'We've run out do you want one of these yes I think it's probably a better deal too.'

I went to the nearest large store ten miles away to use some of the discounts. There was just one pack of Christmas cards left. I bought some biscuits as gifts and a cake. I mentioned to the girl on the till that I'd only had discounts and she said that she had only had discounts too and was very disappointed.
