M&S 12 days of Christmas

I love this each year, today I got a free 75ml hand cream. Which isn’t likely to be as delicious as the florentines I got on day one last year, but you can’t complain about a freebie!

I’m hoping for a knitwear discount one day, I’ve had a cashmere cardi in my basket for weeks.

Who can top free hand cream this morning?! 😁

I think you're right @Issummernearlyover - they need to be careful they don't alienate their loyal customers.

Mind you I think you have to be a pretty loyal customer to have stuck with Sparks this far...

Agree! I spend a decent amount with them as they are much better quality than the other option in our small town. I'd hope for something decent to reflect that.

I picked up the perfume and am delighted with it. I got a sandalwood one but there were 3 other choices and I liked them all.

15% off Christmas cake etc for me today. Probably won’t bother with that.

Did everyone get the tree dec from John Lewis? You had to collect the mini mascara in person but this one must be via the app. So needs a £50 spend otherwise you pay delivery. Why not be able to get both of them online or in store? Why the deadlines? Why Mr Lewis WHY?

I got the tree dec, but will have to make it up to £30 for free C and C or £50 for delivery but all the things that I may have bought in my saved basket have gone back up in price from the recent reductions, so I may as well wait for the sale now. Tree dec expires on the 12th

Went to the big m&s at Stratford today and got a reed diffuser. They had loads and the guy said that hardly anyone had claimed anything.

Think it is more likely they are barely giving any away! I, like the massive majority on this thread, have not had any free gifts this year, only discounts (on things I'm not interested in)

I've got a discount on Christmas jumpers today, which is a bit useless as today is charity Christmas jumper day so that would have made sense to push out in advance.
Not a single free item as yet!

I think my M&S advent peaked on day 1 with the 30ml fragrance, it’s just been a series of rubbish discount codes I’ll never use ever since. It was the exact same last year, I got one freebie which was obviously so good I now can’t remember it and then just discounts.

Loved the JL bear today though, paid £2.50 for click and collect but it’s very cute.

I’ve been whining about wanting a jumper code… but today’s code is for Christmas jumpers and doesn’t work on the normal jumpers I already have in my basket.
I think I’m done - will get my dad’s jumper from Uniqlo instead.
If they’d given me a friends and family 20% voucher at the end of November (like they used to), I’d have spent a few hundred quid, got my shopping finished and been very happy. With this scheme, I’ve spent nothing at M&S and I’m irritated! What a waste of time.

They've been so rubbish that I keep forgetting to open the doors. It's only when I see this thread that I remember. Same as everyone else - christmas jumper discount and free bear bauble. At least that's two genuine freebies from John Lewis since it started (if you can be bothered going into a store and shopping on the app). M&S has only been discounts for me.

Ive def peaked at the free mince pies ... 20% off Christmas Jumpers today? When theyre so expensive anyway, you'd think with the whole cost of living crisis they'd be a little more generous with the % off things. I did take advantage of the 20% off biscuits as needed them for an Xmas get together but so far so disappointing

Picked up my diffuser from Stratford London today plenty all lined up at the till. Also got 20% of chocolate biscuits for the food bank money of a Christmas cake and a free pastry that I had as a treat a week or so ago.

Went in to M&S today and picked up free Colin bits and some wrapping paper with discount. Will use cake discount next week.
