Give me your best shots. Here's mine so far:

Home Alone. The tarantula scene. The confusion on his face, the realisation as his eyes get wider and wider. Then... that high pitched, hysterical scream to end all screams. Absolutely fucking hilarious! Nothing beats it. Nothing.

The Burbs. When Corey Feldman yells "Yo Rumsfield!!" and Bruce Dern stumbles with fright, goes flying off the roof and shoots the car window when he lands.

Uncle Buck. Shatterproof... 🤣

Notting Hill. Fancy a fuck?

PUTTING ON THE RIIIIIITZ! Watched it in a B&B with my friend and our landlady, and my friend peed on the LL's sofa...

But pretty much all of Young Frankenstein anyway.

Yes to Putting on the Ritz ! It absolutely cracks me up also the 'what hump' scene

Yes to whoever said 'All of Big Lebowski'.

For me, Bad Santa, too many to choose. So bad taste but with enough sweetness to make that even funnier, and that kid is amazing as Thurman Merman... 🎅

"I'm a rather brilliant surgeon...". 😄

Also, the Blind Hermit scene is an absolute masterclass in comedy (and a killer punchline)...

The boys dancing across a vast empty dance floor in The Inbetweeners movie.

A really old one, the scene in The Court Jester where Danny Kaye is being made a knight and it's all speeded up.

FredaFandango · 15/10/2024 09:35

The scene in Ruthless People where Bette Midler and Judge Reinhold discover the bedroom killer.

In fact all of Ruthless People. Danny Devito and Bette Midler were amazing and Bill Pullmans character was hilarious

  • The Ballchinian scene in one of the Men in Black movies
  • All of Airplane
  • The "she's no longer my girlfriend....she's now my wife" scene in Four Weddings & a Funeral.
  • Mrs Doubtfire - the face cream scene and the putting out the fires with pan lids scenes.
