Give me your best shots. Here's mine so far:

Home Alone. The tarantula scene. The confusion on his face, the realisation as his eyes get wider and wider. Then... that high pitched, hysterical scream to end all screams. Absolutely fucking hilarious! Nothing beats it. Nothing.

The Burbs. When Corey Feldman yells "Yo Rumsfield!!" and Bruce Dern stumbles with fright, goes flying off the roof and shoots the car window when he lands.

Uncle Buck. Shatterproof... 🤣

Notting Hill. Fancy a fuck?

Deuce Bigalow Male Gigolo - terrible film but the narcoleptic tenpin bowler corpses me.

Also - Does Your Mother Know from Johnny English

Princessbananahamock · 07/02/2024 18:01

One crazy summer! So many scenes but when the naughty girls are told not to pull faces - because if someone slaps you on the back you’ll stay that way FOR EVER! They do and it changes their face and that of the cabbage patch doll they have.

Goonies, chunk telling the baddies about the cinema incident.

Scooby doo, shaggy saying “ this one’s gonna singe your fur” and of course the fart in the metal armour which ignites the flame higher.

The huge dog chasing the squirrel in Christmas Vacation

John Candy.....Big bear chase me.. from the Great Outdoors. Another scene from the Great Outdoors...trying to catch the bat.

All of Ruthless People but particularly Bette Midler describing how she will torture Danny DeVito.

Taking grandpa's dead body Little Miss Sunshine

Planes, Trains and Automobiles when Steve Martin speaks to the lady about the missing hire car.

Yes!

shellyleppard · 07/02/2024 18:30

Planes, trains and automobiles where steve martin washes his face... .in john candy's enormous underpants!!!

mnahmnah · 07/02/2024 18:31

Bruce Almighty when Steve Carell is reading the news in total gibberish. Has me snorting every time.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 07/02/2024 18:34

Carry on up the Khyber. The dinner party scene.

Franklefoot · 07/02/2024 18:37

Another one from Little Miss sunshine: when he beeps the horn and it gets stuck.

Anjea · 07/02/2024 18:37

National lampoons Christmas.

How dare you speak to me like that? lol

Ashard20 · 07/02/2024 18:41

These are all hilarious! Should have bought a squirrel is now a favourite quote of ours whenever we're somewhere that feels like we're lost on a journey.
Another one from Rat Race: the whole flying cow scene! That has me in pleats every time.

Has anyone mentioned Muriel's Wedding. The scene where the guy attempts to unzip the flatmate's trousers and instead unzips the beanbag with all the beads going everywhere

Sunnnybunny72 · 07/02/2024 18:41

The life of Brian - the stoning.

TheCourtierTapsHisFan · 07/02/2024 18:43

Dustin Hoffman walking down the stairs at the end of Tootsie.

ThePerfectDog · 07/02/2024 18:45

It didn’t make it into the film in this version but this ‘blooper’ is brilliant (don’t watch if you’re easily offended).

It’s an out take from this is 40 with Melissa McCarthy

Brick in Anchorman “I just burnt my tongue.”

One of the Hot shots films when they are scuba diving and the narrator says “I only had two things on my mind. Would we save the president in time. And why did I bring helium instead of air?” And his voice goes all squeaky 😂😂 I’m laughing typing it oh dear 🙈

In The Nice Guys when Ryan Gosling smashes the glass and cuts his wrist open I cry laughing and the way it cuts to the ambulance 😂

So many I can’t even think!

Koala2022 · 07/02/2024 18:50

Another Steve Martin one - Bringing Down the House, with Queen Latifah. The scene at the dinner table where the tone-deaf old lady sings a spiritual slave song. This film is one of my favourites and funny all the way through tbh.

Mementomorissons · 07/02/2024 18:59

My cousin Vinny - the "not to mention stomp, stomp your biological clock ticking" speech

Kittensat36 · 07/02/2024 19:02

I'm a yes to most of these, specially National Lampoon's Christmas and Carry On Up The Khyber (the bit where Peter Butterworth has the lamp rolling round his head is genius).

The bit from Muriel's wedding sounds like my love life.

But for me, it's The Dish. "Ladies and Gentlemen, please remain upstanding for the American national anthem." All the Americans put their hands on their hearts and the band begins a spirited rendition of

the theme from Hawaii 5-0

Crinkle77 · 07/02/2024 19:06

The scene in Road Trip where they go to the black fraternity and Kyle gets smashed and insists he can dance to It's Tricky and does Irish dancing in the middle of it. So bloody funny!

cannaecookrisotto · 07/02/2024 19:15

The bit in Planes trains where he falls asleep and drives between the two Lorry's - when they turn into screaming skeletons gets me every time.

Same in Home Alone 2 when Marv electrocutes himself on the sink.

Home Alone 2 when Marv screams. Think it's just Marv screaming that gets me.

There's a bit in the shit film "Hot Tub Time Machine" where a guy throws up on a squirrel. Tickled me.

"I'm gonna put my nutsack on your drum set" - stepbros.

Squirrelsnut · 07/02/2024 19:17

The boys dancing awkwardly across a vast empty dance floor to approach some girls in The Inbetweeners movie.
Eddie Murphy running frantically across a motorway in Bowfinger: 'Heavenly Father!!'

user1471462634 · 07/02/2024 19:28

Something About Mary

''Aah 1, Aah 2, Aah ........we got a bleeder''

"Deuce, deuce & a half"

The film is great, seen it several times.

Stumbleine · 07/02/2024 19:45

Anchorman 2 - the lighthouse when they all go and visit Ron. "I'm. BLIND!!"

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 07/02/2024 19:48

"There's something wrong with this yoghurt"

"It's not yoghurt, it's mayonnaise "

"Oh right, there we are then"

😂😂😂😂😂

FredaFandango · 07/02/2024 20:01

Steve Martin in Father of the Bride in the scene with Honk and Fronk
