If someone broke into your car right now what would they get?

Just stepped out of mine and made a note that if someone broke into mine they would find designer prescription sunshades, designer regular sunshades, a cheap pair of glasses, a coin purse with about 50 quid in it, 2 dog leads, an umberela, a denim jacket and shopping bags.

parkrun band, trolley token, 3 massive bags of bulb compost, 2 golf umbrellas, a bottle of screen wash, a broken phone holder, and whatever disgustingness the kids have left in the doors in the back.

An old 20p coin that a garage mechanic left on the floor of the car for me, having teased it out from some cranny whilst fixing my car. Half normal, half eroded to fuck.

Half eaten packet of nuts and fruit pastilles
Golf umbrella
Paracetamol and knives (can't have in house due to teen)

My new latte spoons! They have been in the back door pocket for so long but I'd be devastated. Might go and get them now just in case

Bored

A change purse with about £3 in it, I'd miss the purse more than the money. A microfibre cloth, never washed and a third hand car seat.

Cholera most likely..

Two bags of royal canin kitten and a very large bag for life. An iPhone charger. Possibly some tissues.

3 advent calendars and 24 empty shopping bags.

Dirty.

Pair of glasses for distance,packet of anti bacterial wipes,microfibre cloths.In the boot there are a couple of old towels,a golf umbrella,first aid kit,de icer spray and scraper and some bags for life.
Nothing of any value

A camping chair, picnic blanket, frisbee from a beach trip, muddy wellies, hiking boots, woolly hat, winter coat. First aid kit, wet wipes, hand sanitizer, prescription sunglasses, hairbrush, pen, Micheal Buble Christmas CD, picture bought on holiday last year waiting to go to the picture framers.

Four rainmacs (we live in Devon), emergency cereal bars, jelly babies and loads of random bungee cords just because.

This reminds me of a time someone broke into my friends car after a night out. She had gotten changed / showered after work and all they took (after smashing the window) was an empty purse, a broken hair drier and a bag of her work clothes. She worked on a farm, had been lambing and mucking out all day. They got what they deserved 😂

20 thousand supermarket bags which I leave in the car so I can take some when I go shopping then consequently forgot and have to buy MORE!!!

A hockey stick.

About 4 or 5 empty Costa coffee cups.

Some Kevin the carrot toys I’m hiding in the boot and need to sneak in, but keep forgetting. Box of broken breadsticks, Disney cds, some odd shoes most likely and some random cleaning products I threw in my car ages ago.

Our car is so awful, the last time anyone broke in they actually tidied up. I don’t think they took anything, bless them. Must have been a major disappointment!

DFs old sheepskin gloves, chewing gum, reusable shopping bags, and one of those windshield covers for when it's icy overnight. Once left my car unlocked and it got rifled through - I lost cash and my prescription sunglasses :(

Two dog blankets, a pair of walking trainers, a charging lead, a tin of Vaseline lip balm and my glasses (which have an arm missing because I sat on them).

And some dried mud.

Lots and lots of Snotty tissues and old bottles of half filled tap water, bags bags and more bags for life and my favourite bit of branch from several years ago. I’m tempted to leave a big note on drivers seat saying if you break in please throw the stick out as you drive off but I know which tree it came from.

Several empty water bottles, around £1 in change, some cheap headphones, a screen wiper and a load of empty coffee cups.
Yes I’m a slob.

In the front: half a packet of assorted mints, 3 dusters, a squeegee thingy for misted up windows and a packet of paper handkerchiefs.
On the back Seay the dog’s cushion and an ancient towel.
In the boot: three shopping bags, a camping chair and a bag stuffed with things like de-icer and poo bags/water/dog bowl, tennis balls etc for dog walks.
Absolutely nothing of value or interest really 🤷🏼‍♀️

2 car seats, a plastic bowl (in case of travel sickness), an umbrella, a flannel & squidgee for wiping the windows, a clean reusable coffee cup and whatever empty sweet / food wrappers that I haven't gotten round to clearing out yet & a packet of tissues. There might be a half empty bottle of water rolling around the rear footwear together with a forgotten toy. Possibly about £3 in loose change. Slight tangent but my mum always carries a big bag which is usually full of shopping bags and maybe a jumper or her coat, whilst any valuables are left on her person. She would joke good luck to anyone who snatches her bag!
